In research level a combined metric for department of faculty with PhD and experience. Those institutions graduated students at least in 3 batches in UG and PG programs will be considered for ranking.
Teaching institutions of under graduation level along with university affiliated degree colleges are invited to participate. If there is a single engineering discipline in the University of Engineering School with very fewer students then would not be eligible for ranking. By analysing the data NIRF will make the final decision on ranking of discipline.
