CLAT 2026

CLAT-Common Law Admission Test is the most widely used entrance exam to get into a 5-year law program and also a few PG law seats at NLUs. CLAT is held by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). It is an offline exam, i.e., a pen and paper-based test. CLAT scores is accepted by 24 National Law Universities, except Delhi, along with 50+ affiliated law colleges.

CLAT 2026 eligibility depends if the candidate is appearing for a UG or PG law program. In case of UG course, candidate must have completed their 10+2 board exams with a minimum of 50% marks. For the PG course, the applicant must have completed LLB or its equivalent with min of 50% marks.

AILET 2026

AILET-All India Law Entrance Test is a national-level entrance exam. NLU Delhi is the conducting body of AILET. It is an offline (pen and paper) exam where the candidates must come to the exam centre to take the test. BA LLB Hons, LLM, and PhD are the courses offered based on AILET scores in NLU Delhi. This exam is highly competitive as only limited are available for the courses.

AILET 2026 eligibility requires a minimum of 45% marks in the 12th board exams for the UG program. For the PG course, an LLB degree with the required minimum aggregate marks is necessary. The AILET 2026 exam paper includes English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning sections. The BA LLB exam consists of 150 questions, while the LLM exam has 100 questions.

LSAT 2026

LSAT-Law School Admission Test is conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). Candidates looking for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB, and LLM course admissions can choose to appear for LSAT 2026. It is an online exam that is remote proctored. Private institutes such as Jindal Global Law School, UPES, Amity, and others accept LSAT scores and provide law course seat to eligible candidates.

For the PG law program, candidates need to possess a bachelor's degree with the required minimum aggregate scores (as determined by the participating institutes). SLAT 2026

SLAT-Symbiosis Law Admission Test is a university-level entrance exam. It is conducted by Symbiosis International. SLAT is an online exam held in CBT format. SLAT scores are accepted only in Symbiosis Law Campus- Pune, Noida, Nagpur, and Hyderabad. Courses offered under SLAT scores are BA LLB Hons and BBA LLB Hons. DU LLB 2026

Delhi University has moved LLB admissions under the CUET law-related process for many law seats. It is conducted by NTA. DU LLB scores are considered to provide a 3-Year LLB program.
