CLAT 2026

CLAT-Common Law Admission Test is the most widely used entrance exam to get into a 5-year law program and also a few PG law seats at NLUs. CLAT is held by the Consortium of National Law Universities (NLUs). It is an offline exam, i.e., a pen and paper-based test. CLAT scores is accepted by 24 National Law Universities, except Delhi, along with 50+ affiliated law colleges.

CLAT 2026 eligibility depends if the candidate is appearing for a UG or PG law program. In case of UG course, candidate must have completed their 10+2 board exams with a minimum of 50% marks. For the PG course, the applicant must have completed LLB or its equivalent with min of 50% marks.

CLAT 2026 paper tests the aspirants in areas such as English, Legal Reasoning, General Knowledge, Logical Reasoning, and Quantitative Techniques. The total duration of the exam is 2 hours to solve a total of 120 questions.

AILET 2026

AILET-All India Law Entrance Test is a national-level entrance exam. NLU Delhi is the conducting body of AILET. It is an offline (pen and paper) exam where the candidates must come to the exam centre to take the test. BA LLB Hons, LLM, and PhD are the courses offered based on AILET scores in NLU Delhi. This exam is highly competitive as only limited are available for the courses.

AILET 2026 eligibility requires a minimum of 45% marks in the 12th board exams for the UG program. For the PG course, an LLB degree with the required minimum aggregate marks is necessary. The AILET 2026 exam paper includes English, Current Affairs and General Knowledge, and Logical Reasoning sections. The BA LLB exam consists of 150 questions, while the LLM exam has 100 questions.

LSAT 2026

LSAT-Law School Admission Test is conducted by the Law School Admission Council (LSAC). Candidates looking for 5-year LLB, 3-year LLB, and LLM course admissions can choose to appear for LSAT 2026. It is an online exam that is remote proctored. Private institutes such as Jindal Global Law School, UPES, Amity, and others accept LSAT scores and provide law course seat to eligible candidates.

Applicants for the integrated law course via LSAT 2026 must have completed their 12th board exams. For the PG law program, candidates need to possess a bachelor's degree with the required minimum aggregate scores (as determined by the participating institutes). LSAT 2026 consists of four sections: Analytical Reasoning, two Logical Reasoning sections, and Reading Comprehension. The exam lasts 2 hours and 20 minutes.

SLAT 2026

SLAT-Symbiosis Law Admission Test is a university-level entrance exam. It is conducted by Symbiosis International. SLAT is an online exam held in CBT format. SLAT scores are accepted only in Symbiosis Law Campus- Pune, Noida, Nagpur, and Hyderabad. Courses offered under SLAT scores are BA LLB Hons and BBA LLB Hons. One of the unique aspects of this exam is that, after the written exam, candidates will be processed through PI and WAT rounds.

MH CET Law 2026

MH CET Law is a state-level exam organized by the CET cell of Maharashtra. It is for students seeking admission into 3-year and 5-year LLB courses. MH CET Law scores are accepted in government, aided, and private law colleges across the state. It is an online exam that evaluates candidates on Legal Aptitude, Logical and Analytical Reasoning, General Knowledge, English, and Basic Mathematics.

MH CET Law Important dates 2026

AP LAWCET 2026

AP LAWCET- Andhra Pradesh Law Common Entrance Test is a state-level exam. It is conducted by Acharya Nagarjuna University on behalf of APSCHE. This is to provide admission to 3-year and 5-year LLB programs in colleges across AP. It is an online exam evaluating candidates in General Knowledge, Mental Ability, and Legal Aptitude. There are a total of 120 questions and the time period is 90 minutes.

Aspirants of 5-year LLB must have passed in 12th boards with at least 45% marks, and for the 3-year LLB, a bachelor’s degree with a minimum of 45% marks is required.

AP LAWCET Important dates 2026

TS LAWCET 2026

TS LAWCET- Telangana State Law Common Entrance Test is a state-level entrance exam conducted by Osmania University, Hyderabad, on behalf of TSCHE. It is an online exam analyzing candidates on General Knowledge and Current Affairs, Mental Ability, and Legal Aptitude. TS LAWCET scores are used to offer admissions to 3-year and 5-year LLB programs in Telangana.

For the 5-year LLB, candidates must have passed in 12th with at least 45% marks. For the 3-year LLB, a graduation degree or its equivalent is required. There is no upper age limit, and the test consists of 120 MCQs.

KLEE 2026

KLEE- Kerala Law Entrance Exam is a state-level entrance exam conducted by CEE, Kerala. This is to provide admission into the 3-year and 5-year LLB programs offered by law colleges across the state. KLEE is an online exam that assesses candidates’ skills in English, General Knowledge, and Legal Aptitude.

KLEE eligibility for the 5-year LLB, students must have at least 45% marks in 12th board. For the 3-year LLB, applicants must hold a bachelor’s degree with the same minimum marks. There is no age limit.

BLAT 2026

BLAT- BHU Law Admission Test was previously conducted by Banaras Hindu University, but now it is held through CUET UG. Courses offered through BLAT is BA LLB Hons. BLAT scores are accepted only by the BHU faculty of law.

BLAT 2026 has 150 MCQs in total, comprising of all 5 sections: General Knowledge, Current Affairs, English Language, Legal Aptitude, and Mental Ability, with a total duration of 2 hours. DU LLB 2026

Delhi University has moved LLB admissions under the CUET law-related process for many law seats. It is conducted by NTA. DU LLB scores are considered to provide a 3-Year LLB program. Admissions are accepted only by the Delhi University faculty of law. This exam is listed under the most reputed 3-year LLB program.

It is mandatory for the applicants to have completed 10+2 board exams with min of 50% marks to appear for DU LLB/ CUET.

DU LLB Important dates 2026
