The authority has published the COMEDK UGET 2026 notification on their website. Along with the notification, it has released the COMEDK 2026 Exam Date. As per the schedule, the exam will take place on 9 May 2026.

COMEDK UGET will be administered for the purpose of admission to engineering courses at approximately 150 colleges across Karnataka. The exam will be conducted in online (CBT-Computer Based Test) across multiple cities in India. Therefore, candidates residing outside of Karnataka may also register for the exam if they meet the qualifications.

COMEDK UGET 2026 Registration is expected to begin soon. The mode of registration is online. Candidates required to visit the official web portal to apply online. Authority will soon update the official last date to apply for COMEDK 2026.

COMEDK UGET 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before applying to the 2026 COMEDK, candidates must full-fill several requirements.

  • A candidate must have completed 10+2/2 PUC from a recognized board.
  • Candidates must have studied both Physics and Maths in 10+2.
  • In addition to Physics and Math, candidates must have studied any one of the subject  Chemistry or Biology.
  • English is another course required of all 12th grade students taking this exam.
  • General Category Candidates must score minimum 45%. Whereas reserved category students must score above 40%.
  • Diploma candidates are not eligible to apply for COMEDK.

How to apply for COMEDK UGET 2026?

COMEDK UGET 2026 application process includes online registration, form filling, documents uploading and fees payment.

Step 1 - Register by Clicking on COMEDK Online Registration Link

  • You need visit the COMEDK official website to register for an exam. On the website, you must click the "Register" link.
  • You will be required to enter your basic information that includes Name, DOB, Valid Email ID, Mobile Number.
  • Once you have successfully registered with the above-mentioned information, you will receive an email confirming your User ID and password for accessing the system.

Step 2 - Fill out COMEDK UGET Application Form

  • Login using your User ID and password to access the form.
  • In the form, complete all personal, academic and category information as accurately as possible.
  • After entering all the details, check out whether it is accurate. Since an incorrectly completed application form will lead to the rejection.

Step 3 - Upload Required Documents

When completing your application form for the COMEDK UGET, you must upload a scanned copy of:

  • Your most recent passport-sized photograph
  • Your signature
  • Your parent or guardian’s signature

Step 4 - Selection of COMEDK 2026 Exam Centre

  • Candidates must indicate at least three exam centre preferences when filling out their application forms.
  • Preferences will be allocated based on availability.

Step 5 - Payment of COMEDK 2026 Application Fee

Online application fee payment options available include: Debit Card, Credit Card, or Net Banking. Application fees are as follows:

  • PCM (COMEDK only) – INR 1800 + Convenience fee.
  • PCM (COMEDK + UNI-GAUGE) = INR 2950 + Convenience.

Know about COMEDK UGET 2026?

The consortium will update the COMEDK exam pattern for 2026 soon on its official website. To be noted, the format is likely to be same as previous year. According to the sources, no changes have been implemented by authority. There will be three subjects, Physics, Chemistry and Maths, each containing 60 questions with a total of 180 questions/marks.

Candidates will earn 1 mark for every correct answer, and there is no negative marking. As a result, no marks will be deducted for incorrect answers. The mode of exam is online (Computer based test) and the duration of the exam is 3 hrs.

The COMEDK 2026 Syllabus is based on CBSE Syllabus of both classes 11 and 12. Approximately 33% of the questions will come from the class 11 syllabus, while approximately 67% of the questions will come from the class 12 syllabus.

  • Physics will consist of 60 questions focusing primarily on topics covered in Class 12, such as mechanics, electrodynamics, and modern physics.
  • Chemistry will also have 60 questions, more weightage given to Physical and Organic Chemistry from 12th syllabus.
  • Mathematics will consist of 60 questions focusing primarily on Algebra, Calculus and Co-ordinate Geometry as well as many other important mathematical concepts.
