Bengal Institute of Technology

Bengal Institute of Technology is an AICTE approved institute which is a part of Techno India Group that was begun in the academic year 2000. BIT is located in a lush green campus in Basanti Highway which is few km away from Kolkata. The institute is situated in a place where it is away from all the hustle and bustle of metro and madding crowd though having all the basic city facilities. The institute can be reached by bus with just 10 minutes’ drive from Science City and by Auto from Sealdah Railway Station. BIT is also providing transportation facility for the students’ conveniences.

BIT is one in the few institutes that offer B.Tech course in Bio Technology discipline in West Bengal region. The institute’s placement cell prepares the students by training them through Aptitude Tests, Programming Test, GD, Technical Round, HR, Telephonic Round, Managerial round etc. BIT has signed MoU with TCG Life Science for establishing advanced Laboratories for equipping the students with know-hows of the current industries.
