Different ways of rankings would be given based on eligibility and certain disciplines, each broad head and sub-heads has an overall weight assigned. When it comes to law few of the weightage for each parameter differs from different courses. Though parameters are same the marks are same the weightage for each of it will differ. Frequent physical checks on the audited accounts and institution records is been authorized by NIRF to ensure fundamental of ethical behaviour is been bond to it basically the ranking exercise includes all the parameters and metrics to match the norms of NIRF to be a part of this exercise.
Cooperation is a must and institutes are expected to cooperate in case of any physical checking is carried out so that it might not lead to debarring the participation of institution from ranking exercise. There is no wrong in modifying any of the metrics and it is reserved by the NIRF.
