Karunya Institute of Technology and Science came into existence in 1986 as Engineering College. In 1994, it was declared a Minority Institution. Karunya University Admission is based on the entrance test and academic merit. KU will conduct its entrance test for offering admission to the B Tech, MBA, and BSc Agriculture. Candidates who wish to apply for BSc Agriculture or B Tech Admission in Karunya University have to appear for Karunya Entrance Exam. At the same time, admission to the other UG Courses will be based on academic merit in the last qualifying exam. Karunya MBA Admission is based on the Karunya Management aptitude Test scores. Karunya University Admission

Admission to Karunya University is based on the student's performance in the entrance test. For fewer courses, admission will be granted based on the academic marks obtained in the last qualifying exam. Furthermore, students must satisfy the eligibility criteria. Karunya University's application process is online. Eligible & Interested applicants need to visit the official website of KU to fill up the forms.

B Tech admission in Karunya University

• To be eligible for Karunya B Tech admission, candidates must have cleared 10+2 with a least 60% in the Science stream. Shall have studied PCM as the main subject.
• The selection of the candidates will be based on the Karunya University Entrance Exam (KEE)
• Thus, applicants must appear for the entrance test conducted by KU. As a first step, applicants must register for Karunya Entrance Exam via online mode.
• The admission authority will shortlist the applicants based on their KEE scores.
• Shortlisted applicants will be allowed to participate in KEE Counselling rounds.
• During the counseling phase, applicants must choose their choice of course/branch.
• At last, the final seat allotment process takes place. It will be based on students' KEE Rank, Seat availability, and preferences.
• Karunya University Lateral Entry Admission for B Tech is based on merit in the qualifying exam. To be eligible, students must have completed their three-year diploma in the concerned discipline with a minimum of 60% aggregate marks.

Know about KEE (Karunya University Entrance Exam)

Candidates seeking admission to the B Tech or BSc Agriculture courses at KU apply for the Karunya Entrance Exam.

• The examination will be held in online mode. There will be 120 objective types of questions that need to be answered within 2.30 hours time limit.
• There will be four sections in KEE Question Paper: Mathematics/Biology (Optional), Physics, Chemistry, and General Aptitude.
• As per KEE Marking Scheme, 1 mark will be rewarded for each correct answer. For incorrect answers, 0.25 marks will be deducted (Negative Marking)
• Karunya entrance test will be conducted in April every year. The authority will announce KEE Exam dates officially on its website.
• Applicants need to fill out the Karunya Entrance Exam application form by logging into the official website.
• KEE Application fees or Karunya Exam fees will be approx INR 1000 for Indian National. NRI and Foreign Nationals have to pay USD 250.

MBA Admission to Karunya Univesity

• MBA in Karunya University is available in seven disciplines. Students who have completed their UG degree with 50% are eligible to apply for Karunya MBA Admission.
• MBA Admission seekers have to undertake the entrance test known as KMAT. (Karunya Management Aptitude Test)
• MBA Selection Criteria in Karunya depend on the student's performance in KMAT.
• Suppose students have cleared CAT, MAT, or XAT with a valid score, they will be excused from KMAT. Such students must satisfy the Karunya University MBA Cut off.
• For example, candidates applying for the CAT exam must hold a minimum 50 percentile. If it is below the 50 percentile, they must sit for KMAT.
• Similarly, it applies to MAT and XAT. The cut-off score varies for each entrance test.

Step 4: After the submission of the EOI form. You will receive a confirmation email or SMS that indicates the application number and passcode. By using this, you can apply online for Provisional admissions.

Karunya offers a well-furnished hostel facility for both Male and Female students. In total, there are six hostel blocks. Two blocks are for boys, and the remaining four are for girls. All the hostel blocks are well equipped with modern amenities.
