CUET 2026 Registration Begins - Apply Online Now!

The National Testing Agency (NTA) has opened CUET UG 2026 Registration. Interested Applicants can register online via the NTA website. The authority has updated the CUET UG 2026 Exam Date. As per the schedule, the exam will take place in CBT format from May 11 to May 31, 2026. Therefore, it is essential that applicants register as early as possible and complete their application by the deadline CUET UG 2026 Registration Last date is 30 January 2026. Registering early can prevent complications when submitting CUET UG 2026 application form.  

Applicants looking for admission to the UG Courses offered by Central Universities, State Universities, Deemed To be Universities or top private universities must appear for the CUET UG Exam.

Applicants will no longer have to sit for multiple entrance exams. Through single CUET Exam score, students will be able to apply popular universities, including Delhi University, Banaras Hindu University (BHU), Jawaharlal Nehru University (JNU), Aligarh Muslim University (AMU), and others.

CUET UG 2026 Eligibility Criteria

Before filling up CUET 2026 Online application form, Applicants required to satisfy the eligibility requirements.

• Applicants who have completed the Class 12 board exam or will be taking their Class 12/10+2 examinations in 2026, are eligible to apply for the CUET UG Exam.
• There are no age restrictions for applying to the CUET UG Exam in 2026.
• Applicants belonging to general category must score minimum 50% in 10+2. While, Applicants belonging to SC/ST/OBC categories, must score minimum 40%.

Note: The eligibility criteria concerning age and academic qualifications vary between the individual universities that have participated in the CUET Examination.

How to apply for CUET UG 2026 Online?

Before submitting application for CUET UG 2026, candidates must ensure that they have all relevant documents. Applicants can only download the admit card if they have successfully filled out the application form and paid the application fee. Here is the step-by-step guide for applying online:

• Go to the authorized CUET UG Portal.
• On the CUET UG Portal home page, you will find "CUET 2026 Online Registration Link."
• After finding the online registration link, you need to thoroughly read through all of the instructions and agree to the terms of the DECLARATION to be able to register for CUET 2026.
• As part of the registration process, you need to complete a CUET 2026 Online Registration Form to create your CUET account.
• To create your CUET account, you will have to fill out the registration form with required fields with your full name, date of birth, mobile phone number, email address, and home address.
• Next, you need to create a password and enter a secure security PIN in order to access your CUET UG Account.
• After creating the password, you are mandated to validate the CUET account by entering OPT, which will be sent via SMS to your registered number.
• In next step, you can login to your CUET account to access the application form. Use the unique application number and password you created to login.
• Once the Applicant has logged in, they will be required to complete the CUET UG application form.
• In the application form, Applicants will be required to enter their personal information, address, the identification documents they used to complete their application, and their qualifications.
• After filling up the form, Applicants need to select CUET UG subjects that correspond to the UG course they wish to apply for.
• In the next step, upload the documents such as scanned copies of Photograph, Signature and other relevant documents in prescribed format.
• Then, pay the CUET UG 2026 Registration fees via online payment methods.

Note: Candidates will need to enter contact information for their emergency contacts. If the candidate requires an APAAR ID to complete their registration, the process for registering for an APAAR ID is available on the CUET website.

CUET UG 2026 Exam Pattern

It is anticipated that CUET Exam Pattern for 2026 will be the same as that of 2025. The exam consists of 3 sections: Section 1 is Language, Section 2 is Domain Subjects, and Section 3 is General Test. Candidates can choose up to maximum 5 subjects. Each subject paper will be 60 minutes in duration.

Exam pattern indicates that each subject paper will consist of 50 compulsory MCQs (Multiple Choice Questions). For each correct answer +5 marks will be provided and for each incorrect answer -1 will be deducted.

CUET UG 2026 syllabus for Domain subjects is based on NCERT Class 12 syllabus. Therefore, students will be familiar with the content covered in NCERT. The Language Section provides 13 different languages for selection and candidates can select a language they are comfortable with.
