COMEDK UGET 2020 Exam & Result Date

For the academic year 2020, COMEDK will conduct Under Graduate Entrance Test 2020 (UGET - 2020) for admission to engineering courses in Karnataka engineering colleges on 12th MAY 2020.

The COMEDK examination will be conducted on the commenced dates respectively. This B.Tech and B.Arch entrance examination will be conducted in around 19 districts of Karnataka state. The cutoff criteria for the examination will be declared by the board and the aspirants are liable to participate in single window counseling. Aspirants are facilitated to lock their choice at the time of counseling if they are satisfied with the allocation from the board.

COMEDK UGET 2020 entrance exam will be an online computer based test and will be held at centers across the country to facilitate the students to take their exam closer to their homes and to minimize the cost of travel and other logistics.

COMED-K UGET & Uni-GAUGE EMeD will be held as "One Exam"

With COMED-K and Uni-GAUGE Scorecards, you can apply to B.E / B.Tech Courses in respective Member Universities and Institutions.

The fee for COMEDK UGET 2020 is Rs. 1200/- (For PCM / PCB) and Rs. 1500 (For PCMB) and the same will not be refunded due to any reason. The fee payment for the same can be made with the help of debit card or credit card or net banking.

The release date of COMEK UGET application form will be on 16th January 2020 through online mode and the application submission dates is scheduled to be on 19th of April 2020. The applications are strictly made available on COMEDK official website and there will be no scope for the availability of the form through any other modes like post or any other. Candidates are supposed to provide all the necessary documents at the time of registration.

COMED-K Eligibility Criteria For Engineering Courses

Candidates from all over the country can appear for the COMEDK UGET 2020 entrance examination. The eligibility criterion for various programs :

UG Engineering Courses
  • Admission for B.E. is second PUC or 10+2 Higher Secondary or equivalent examination recognized by State/Central Government; the last two years of study shall comprise of Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics with English as a compulsory subject.
  • Candidates should have passed with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics and should have passed these subjects individually. Physics and Mathematics are compulsory subjects along with Chemistry or Bio Technology or Biology or Computer Science or Electronics as one of the optional subjects.
  • COMEDKEntrance Test for admission to Engineering courses is based on the rank list.
  • Diploma candidates are not eligible to take the Entrance Test as there are no lateral entry admissions.
  • The candidates shall submit the original marks card of the examination during counseling for proving their eligibility vis-a-vis marks scored as evidenced by the original marks card
UG Architecture Courses
  • The prescribed qualifying examination for admission to B. Arch course is second PUC or 10+2.
  • Higher Secondary or equivalent examination with Mathematics as one of the subjects along with other subjects or a 10+3 Diploma recognized by Central / State Government and having obtained at least 50% marks in aggregate.
  • The candidates should have qualified a recognized aptitude test in Architecture (NATA or equivalent) in 2020.
  • There shall be no Entrance Test for candidates seeking admission to B. Arch Course.
  • Candidates looking admission to B. Arch course shall submit separate application form for counseling as per the notification on COMEDK website (will be made available before counseling)

COMEDK UGET Admit Card

  • By using the same credentials that is provided during the time of registration candidate will have to login and download the admit card or test admission ticket through online mode only from the official website.
  • Make sure the admit card is saved until the admission procedure is over. Admit card will be available only for certain days it is better to download as soon as it is released. Without the admit card no candidate will be allowed to sit in the examination hall.
