Know about XAT 2026

XAT will be conducted online (computer-based test), which lasts 3 to 30 minutes. The exam consists of four sections which are as follows: Verbal and Logical Ability, Decision Making, Quantitative Ability & Data Interpretation, and General Knowledge. Besides these 4 sections, there is also an essay writing part. The marking system is as follows: +1 for each correct answer and -0.25 for each wrong answer. However, there is no negative marking in the General Knowledge section.

In order to be eligible for XAT 2026, candidates should have a bachelor's degree in any discipline from a recognized university. Students in the final year of their degrees or those who will complete their degrees before admission are eligible to apply. In addition, applicants are mandated to satisfy the XAT 2026 Cutoff. The cutoff varies from college to college.

The XAT exam is considered difficult but manageable if you prepare well. It is unique compared to other MBA entrance exams because it is the only one with a Decision-Making section (to evaluate how you would react to real-life business problems) and also has an Essay Writing section which is not standard in other exams. XAT 2026 Schedule

The Xavier Aptitude Test (XAT) 2026 is a National Level Exam for MBA admission conducted by XLRI Jamshedpur. XAT 2026 will be computer-based. It is anticipated to be held on Sunday, January 4, 2026, and will be available in multiple cities across India.
