National Institute of Technology Delhi

National Institute of Technology Delhi is an autonomous university that came into existence in 2010. NIT Delhi or NITD has been designated an Institute of National Importance by the Ministry of Education, Government of India. NIT Delhi aims to create ethical, competitive, and creative human resources with a high intelligence level. The Institute instills strong moral principles in its students while providing a complete education. NIT Delhi was one of the 10^th NITs established during the 11^th Five year Plan by MoE (Ministry of Education).

At the beginning of the 1^st academic year 2010-11, Only three branches were offered under NIT Delhi B Tech Programme. They are computer science, electronics, and communication engineering. For nearly two years, the NITD's academic activities were carried out under the mentorship of NIT Warangal. Later, it moved to the temporary campus in Dwaraka, New Delhi. At present, NITD functions from its permanent campus. NIT Delhi Courses include B Tech, M Tech, and Ph.D. NIT Delhi Permanent campus is located near GT Karnal Road, which is about 25km away from Delhi City.

NIT Delhi Ranking is 251 for B Tech by NIRF 2021 Survey. As per India Today Survey, NITD was ranked 35^th among Top Engineering Colleges in India. NIT Delhi B Tech Admission

NIT Delhi offers a full-time B. Tech degree at the undergraduate level. The JEE Main exam score determines Admission to NIT Delhi for B Tech. Three specialties are available such as CSE, EE, and ECE. Out of the three specialties available, NIT Delhi Computer Science is the most popular program at the Institute. While., NIT Delhi CSE Cut off ranges from 634 to 7129. The Institute offers a two-year Full-Time NIT Delhi MTech program. A total of 15 students are accepted into each of the program's 6 specialties. GATE Exam Results followed by CCMT counseling determine admission to the M Tech NIT Delhi. As an eligibility criterion, candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in the relevant field, such as a B.E. or B.Tech. Candidates with a Master's degree with a minimum of 60% overall marks/ CGPA of 6.5 can apply for NIT Delhi Ph.d. While students belonging to SC/ST Categories can obtain a minimum of 55% overall marks or an equivalent CGPA of 6.0. Candidates taking their final examinations can also apply as long as they present a provisional mark sheet that does not have any backlog papers.
