Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE) is private Deemed to be University that was started in the academic year 1989 as Noorul Islam College of Engineering. NICHE got the Deemed to be University status in the year 2008 by MHRD and is currently managed by the society (Noorul Islam Centre for Higher Education (NICHE) society). The University is situated in Kanyakumari in 300 acres of land with a distance of 15 kms from Nagercoil.
