GUJCET - Gujarat Common Entrance Test

Gujarat Common Entrance Test, often known as GUJCET. It is used to select students for admission to undergraduate Engineering and Pharmacy programs in the state. The Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Education Board hold the GUJCET exam every year. According to the GSHSE Board, they have made two major adjustments to the GUJCET 2024.

  • Besides Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics, it will include marks from other subjects of class 12 to create the GUJCET 2024 merit list.
  • In the total seats in government institutions, 5% will be filled using JEE Main 2024 scores, while the remaining 95% will be filled through GUJCET 2024 scores.

GUJCET 2024 Eligibility criteria

Students must meet the requirements for GUJCET 2024 eligibility. Some typical GUJCET qualifying criteria, may include prerequisites based on age, country, or academics. Students who desire to register for GUJCET 2024 exam must meet these requirements to take the test and eventually apply for admissions in science and diploma/certification in pharma institutions.

General Eligibility Criteria

  • The student must be a citizen of India.
  • The applicant must be a resident of the state of Gujarat.
  • Students who are in the last semester of their qualifying test can apply.
  • Students must be Indians with a Gujarat domicile.
  • Students must be 17 years old.
  • Students who have passed or sat in the Class 12 exam or any comparable exam from a recognized Board are eligible.
  • Students must have got a 45% (40% for reserved category candidates) in Class 12 with PCM.

Pharmacy Eligibility Criteria

  • A minimum of 45% in Physics and Chemistry in the 12th class. It is 40% for reserved categories.

Diploma Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed 12th class with Physics and Chemistry from any recognized educational board.

Engineering Eligibility Criteria

  • Passed the 12th Class with a minimum of 45% in Physics and Mathematics. It is 40% for reserved categories.

 

GUJCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria: Reservation Policy

Students under reserved categories can apply for GUJCET 2024 using the reservation policy for GUJCET 2024. All participants who have been allotted seats through reservation must provide their classification certificates throughout the counselling procedure. GUJCET 2024 Application Form & fees

The GUJCET 2024 application form can be filled out online at gseb.org. For this purpose, no alternative modalities of application are permitted. In most cases, students must pay a GUJCET application fee to be considered for the GUJCET 2024 exam. Without the payment, their applications will be rejected.

  • Step 1: Go to gujcet.gseb.org and click the "New User Registration" option on the homepage.
  • Step 2: The registration form will now open, and candidates must complete it by giving only accurate information.
  • Step 3: Finish the registration procedure to get your Login ID and password.
  • Step 4: Select "Login" and log in using the credentials generated on the main page.
  • Step 5: You must finish the Rs 300 GUJCET 2024 application fee payment. It may be paid with a credit/debit card or online banking using the SBI Epay System.

Step 6: Complete the application form to the best of your ability and submit the required scanned document photos.

GUJCET 2024 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The GSEB has issued the GUJCET 2024 syllabus. The GUJCET syllabus includes all the topics covered in the exam from exams 11 and 12 in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. Students should plan their study approach with the curriculum in mind. Students must finish the syllabus and solve the previous year's problems to qualify for the GUJCET 2024 exam.

GUJCET 2024 Exam Pattern

GUJCET 2024 Exam Pattern: Marking Scheme

GUJCET 2024 Answer Key: How to Raise Objection

Students may object to the provisional answer key by following the outlined methods.:

  • Create a letter by the rules and fill out the form, including the question-paper number and the answer to which the complaint is being lodged.
  • Students must pay a Rs 500 objection fee for each objection through e-challan.
  • Send an email to gsebsciencekeys@gmail.com with their bank account number, bank name, branch name, and IFSC code.

Authorities will review the concerns, and after examining all the objections, the final answer key will be revealed. The cost will be reimbursed to the candidate if the objection is accepted. However, payments are non-refundable if the objection lodged is incorrect.
