Gujarat Common Entrance Test [GUJCET]
Gujarat CET is a state-level entrance examination conducted annually for the applicants seeking admission in various undergraduate degree programs. GUJCET, abbreviated as Gujarat Common Entrance Test, is conducted by the Gujarat Technical Board to check aspirants' eligibility willing to take admission in the engineering and technology domain.
GUJCET will be conducted under the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Educational Board guidance. Every year more than 1.34 lakhs of students appear for the entrance examination. The entrance examination acts as a gateway to the students willing to seek admission into various private and public colleges.
GUJCET will commence in April, and the schedule for the same will be released in February. The examination will be conducted in offline mode, and the examination center has been established all over the city. More details regarding the entrance examination are mentioned in the below article.

The admission committee of GUJCET will release the notification of the entrance examination through its official website. The GUJCET examination schedules will be released in February. Aspirants appearing for the entrance examination will have to check on the schedules regularly.

GUJCET 2021 Eligibility criteria
GUJCET eligibility criteria are set under the guidance of Gujarat Technical University's admission authorities. All the candidates willing to appear for GUJCET will have to meet all the criteria; if they fail, he/she will not be allowed to appear for the entrance examination.

Age: Candidates appearing for Gujarat CET should be 17 years of age as of 31st December.
Nationality: Aspirants appearing for Gujarat Common Entrance Test should be Indian by nationality.
Domicile: Candidates should be a permanent resident of Gujarat state to be eligible for appearing GUJCET.
Qualification: Candidates should have completed or should be pursuing 12th or intermediate from a recognized board to appear for GUJCET.
Subjects and Scores Required: Candidates should have studied 12th with mandatory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics/Biology with a minimum 45% aggregate (5% relaxations for reserved category candidates).
GUJCET 2021 Application Form & fees
GUJCET 2021 will be held in the second week of my 2021, organized by the Gujarat Secondary & Higher Secondary Education Board (GSHSEB) annually, a state-level common entrance test. This entrance test is held for admissions intoEngineeringandPharmacycourses in different institutions located in Gujarat. Students will have to be eligible for the entrance test by securing the qualifying marks for admission. The admission will be provided to various well-established government and non-government institutions.
GUJCET 2021 Application Form will be live in March 2021 through online mode.
- Before the last date, which will be in March, GUJCET 2021 application form must be completed and submitted.
- The entire application process of GUJCET 2021 includes various steps such as Registration, filling up of application form, uploading of images and documents, and payment of application fee.
- Images of documents should be digitally scanned and uploaded in the prescribed format and size as mentioned in the form.
- Candidates should submit only one application form because the authority won’t consider multiple forms.
- It is recommended to applicants provide complete information as specified in the application form. Otherwise, the form will be eliminated.
- After completing the process, students must take a hard copy of the application form for further reference.
GUJCET 2021 Application Fee
- GUJCET 2021 application can be submitted in both offline and online mode
- The online payment can be made by credit/debit or internet banking.
- The application fee is INR 300/- for all the Applicants under all categories.
GUJCET 2021 Exam Dates
University level Common Entrance Test conducted by Birla Institute of Technology & Science has scheduled to conduct GUJCET in May 2021. GUJCET 2021 application will be released from March 2021, and the applicants will have to submit their form before the last date. Applicants need to be aware of the schedule to not miss out on any events.

GUJCET 2021 Eligibility Criteria
- Candidates must be aware of the eligibility conditions before applying for the application form of GUJCET. Some of the eligibility factors applicants need to be eligible for applying to the course include Nationality, Education qualification, appearance, etc.
- Qualification: Applicant must be a citizen of India, and they should have passed their class 12th exam with a minimum of 50% aggregate (45% for reserved categories) from a recognized board.
- State Candidates: Students being the domicile of Gujarat and having a domicile certificate/birth certificate issued by the state/school leaving certificate's authority are eligible to apply.
- Appearing: Students who appear for this qualifying examination in 2021 are eligible to apply for GUJCET.
How to Fill GUJCET 2021 Application Form?
Step 1: Registration Process
- Go to the official website of GUJCET and seek the registration link.
- Click on the button “new user” and fill in all the details like applicant's name, email ID, phone number, password, gender, father's name, and DOB.
- The applicant should then provide all the contact details to the registered email ID, or phone number candidates will receive a unique user ID and password.
Step 2: Filling up Application Form
- Download GUJCET 2021 Application Form, correctly enter the applicant’s personal information and academic details, and contact details before submitting the form.
- Along with this, if there are any reservation details, then those must also be filled in.
- Followed by, aspirants are instructed to select the question paper's language or medium before submitting the form for GUJCET.
Step 3: Uploading Documents
- A passport-sized photo of the candidate against a white background with a scanned copy of their signature must be attached to the form.
- Applicants need to upload their signature in black ink and scan at 200 dpi.
- They should also be aware that the signature size must range between 5 kb and 20 kb.
- The picture format must be .jpg, with a dimension ranging from 15 kb to 50 kb.
- Apart from this, applicants need to submit one ID Proof within 15 to 256 KB in PDF format.
Step 4: Application Fee Payment
- GUJCET application fee payment is made either online or offline.
- GUJCET 2021 application fee is INR 300/- for all category candidates the applicants.
- If students prefer the online payment, they can use the net banking facility or pay via credit card/debit card to complete the transaction. For offline payment, it can be done through a challan or DD that will be created automatically.
- Applicants who are willing to apply after the last date of submission will have to pay an additional late fee of INR 500, applicants then shall be allowed to fill out the forms from March 2021.
Step 5: Confirmation Page
A confirmation page will be displayed on the screen of your submission based on the GUJCET 2021 application fee's successful payment. The applicant can take the same confirmation page's hard copy for further reference after the payment is successful.

Mode of examination: Gujarat Common Entrance Test will be conducted offline. The examination will is pen and paper-based.
The medium of examination: GUJCET, will be conducted in 3 different languages: English, Hindi, and Gujarati.
Duration of the examination: The GUJCET will be conducted for 3 hours, i.e., 180 minutes. 120 minutes will be provided for Physics and Chemistry and 60 minutes for Mathematics.
Question Paper Format: Multiple choice questions will be asked in GUJCET 2019 question paper. Every question will be provided with 4 options, out of which the candidates will have to choose 1 correct answer.
No. of Questions: GUJCET exam paper consists of 120 questions for 120 marks.
Marking Scheme: In GUJCET, every correct answer will be allotted with a +1 mark, whereas every wrong answer will deduct 0.25 marks. Unanswered questions will neither gain marks nor lose marks.
GUJCET Syllabus
The GUJCET Syllabus will be determined by Class 11 and Class 12 of the Gujarat Secondary and Higher Secondary Educational Board. Candidates can prepare for the GUJCET based on the Gujarat state board's intermediate syllabus. GUJCET examination will consist of three subjects: physics, chemistry, and mathematics.
