NAT stands for National Level Entrance examination commenced once in a year by APIIT (Asia Pacific Institute of Information Technology).  As SD India has connection with international academics and thus to take career of aspirants in some new direction, for fulfilling Entrance Test requirements of different Universities & Higher Education Institutions on a common platform and thereby enabling candidates to access admission option to various Professional, Vocational, Management and Allied programmes like BBA, BCA etc. at the Under Graduate and MBA, MCA etc.

NAT Eligibility criteria

For the B. Tech. course applicants must have passed their 10+2 Examinations from any accepted Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with either Chemistry or Biotechnology or Biology or Computer Science.
She/ He must have obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) 
The applicants who have scored over 40 marks in JEE Mains will be eligible for the 1st Counselling, subject to Online Registration on

For the Lateral Entry to B. Tech., applicants must have passed their Diplomas in Engineering/Technology course of a duration of 3 years or more from an AICTE accepted Institution with at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category).


NAT Application Form & fees

  • Candidates have to visit official website:
  • Fill the application form with Educational, Personal, Communication details correctly with their recent Scanned Photograph.
  • The JEE Main score is also required to be inserted.
  • Their online applications for registration are designed to courses at APIIT SD INDIA, Panipat.
  • The applicants are required to send the filled Application Form along with a Demand Draft of INR 700/- in favour of APIIT SD INDIA, payable at Panipat


NAT Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The NAT Examination consists of 100 MCQS.

  • 50 questions will be asked on Mathematics
  • 50 questions will be asked on Physics.
  • The span of the Exam is 2 hours and 30 minutes.

Every correct answer will fetch 3 marks and 1 mark would be deducted for an every incorrect answer.

NAT Admit Card

After complete process of application form admit cared will be issued for NAT 2018.The admission test will be held on June 2018.Candidate can download the admit card form the website using the log in.

NAT Results & Score Card

Results will be declared in the month of June 2018 After the declaration of the results, the 1st Counselling will be scheduled approximately 10 days later. Admissions will begin simultaneously.

NAT Counselling & Admission

  • Admission to 50% seats (including 15% all India category seats) will be made by Haryana State Technical Education Society through 'ONLINE OFF CAMPUS' Centralized Counselling based on AIEEE-2018 Merit Ranking. For details and important DATES please refer websites:
  • The remaining 50% seats are reserved for Management Quota
  • It will be allotted on Merit of NAT-2016.
  • Students who have scored >=40 marks in JEE Mains are exempted from NAT-2016 and are eligible for direct admission in above mentioned seats.
  • Students having less than 40 marks in JEE main are also eligible for above mentioned seats subject to qualifying the Online Test.
  • Online Test will be conducted on individual basis subject to online registration at Students applying for Online Test will be getting a unique ID and Password through SMS/ Email at least 3 hours before the start of the Online Test.
  • Eligibility: Passed 10+2 examination from recognized Board/University with Physics and Mathematics as compulsory subjects along with any one of the subjects Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Computer Science.
  • Obtained at least 45% marks (40% in case of candidate belonging to reserved category i.e. SC category) in the above subjects taken together.
