Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) is a University level entrance examination for the engineering program. AEEE is a Common Entrance Exam conducted by Amrita Vishwa Vidyapeetham University for various UG engineering programs like B-Tech with basic streams like Computer Science, Mechanical, Civil, Electronics & Electrical engineering, etc.  This applies to all candidates in the city where the University has its campus, and the ones who meet the eligibility criteria can appear for this test. AEEE 2022 Eligibility criteria

Students getting ready to appear for AEEE 2021 should know about the conducting University that initiates taking important considerations in their eligibility criteria. Understanding the specified criteria will help the aspiring students to know if they will be qualified or have the capacity to appear for the exam before filling the online application form. Here, the candidates should realize that once the AVVU committee decides that the student doesn’t fit the set criteria, the application might be eliminated at any admission stage. 

Students applying for the entrance test must fulfill the eligibility criteria mentioned below to appear for the Amrita Engineering Entrance Examination (AEEE) 2021 exam:

  • Students must have completed class 12 from a recognized board in the relevant  Science stream.
  • Candidate should have obtained at least 65% aggregate in their class 12 board exams (50% for reserved category)
  • Students should have passed in some of the compulsory subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics in their intermediate board exams.

AEEE 2022 Application Form & fees

The AEEE aspirant students will have to follow some steps before applying for AEEE 2021. The application/ registration process for AEEE 2021 involves a set of stages like Registration, AEEE Password, getting Enrolment ID, Filling the Application and Uploading scanned Photographs and other required Documents, Online paying of fees, etc.

Candidates must have an in-depth look into the details regarding AEEE 2021 Application Form:

The AEEE 2021 Application Form will be made live and accessible from the 1st week of January as speculated by the University authority, and the last due date for the submission of the application form with fee will be in the first week of April 2021. AEEE 2021 Application form will be made available via online mode on the official website.

The application form will be released from Sept 2020, and students can make sure that they are registered on time for taking up the entrance test.

Step 1: Registration                                               

To register for AEEE 2021, the students will have to provide some of the basic details such as their name, date of birth, email-id, contact details, residence address, choice of stream, specializations, entrance exam details, exam center information, etc. and press submit button.

After the form's submission, applicants have to wait for a certain time until they are informed about their program and stream specialization through email or SMS after which he/she will have to continue to complete all the other steps of application.

Step 2: Uploading Documents/ Photographs     

Students will have to digitally upload their scanned copy of recent, passport-size photographs and their signature as per the form's specifications. The picture size that needs to submit should be within the specified size limit in the form.

Step 3: Application Submission                  

Once the other two steps are completed, a confirmation pop-up will be displayed on the screen, and the student should read it and click on ‘I accept the terms and conditions.

The AEEE 2021 application form will appear on the screen, and the aspirants will have to scrutinize all the details and try to modify them if necessary, and then click on ‘Save and Print’

Applicants are suggested to print out the application receipt after the above steps are completed. This has a payment ID for reference, which will be used for paying application fees.

Step 4: Payment of Fees

Application fees will have to be paid online using a debit card/ credit card or net banking. The application fee for AEEE 2021 is INR .1000/- for the students and INR 300/- for those seeking admission based on JEE Mains score (as speculated). The application fee is non-refundable in any situation. The payment link for AEEE 2021 application fees will be live only after the form has been submitted, and the students can proceed to pay the fees.

Step 5: Confirmation of AEEE 2021 Application

After the payment transaction of the AEEE application fee is completed, students will get an online receipt to their mobile number, which shows the registration process's completion.

They will also get a mail on their registered email ID where the students will get a PDF file of the complete Application Form of AEEE 2021 attached, and later they can access their registered accounts and print out the application form.

AEEE 2022 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

While preparing to attend the AEEE 2021 competitive entrance exam, the students must be aware of any changes in the Exam Pattern. This will help them to know about the details like what is the mode of examination, marking criteria, important sections to concentrate on if there is any negative marking, type of questions, the total number of questions and sections, duration of exam, etc. and will help them to have a better focus on the entrance test.

AEEE 2021 is a 2 ½ hours or 150 minutes exam accessible in both online (computer-based test) or offline (pen & paper) mode exam for joining foe B-Tech course at the university level. Here the students will have to attend 100 questions for 300 marks, with each question carrying 3 marks. The exam paper has 3 sections to attend with subjects like Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics. The Physics & Chemistry section has 30 questions, each carrying 90 marks respectively, and the Mathematics section has 40 questions carrying 120 marks. Here a new type of question pattern has been added in AEEE 2021, i.e., Multiple Select Question, MSQ, and one mark will be deducted for each wrong answer.

AEEE 2022 Admit Card

For both CBT and P&P mode, of AEEE 2021 admit card/ hall ticket will be issued to the candidates who have registered for the AEEE 2021 exam and have paid the application fees along with it. The admit cards will be released on the conducting body's official website by the second week of April 2021.

Firstly, the student must log in to the AEEE website and click on the ‘Admit card’ link and enter their login details and download the admit card/ hall ticket. The applicants must carefully check the information mentioned on the admit cards, such as the applicant's name, exam date, venue, time, and contact details. Students must also carry a valid photo ID proof issued by India's Government to the exam center. They must pin a recent passport-size photograph on the hall ticket as they uploaded in the AEEE application form. It is also mandatory for all applied candidates to carry their admit cards at the examination center. If not, the applicant will not be allowed to appear for the examination without the hall ticket along with anyone with considerable ID proof.

AEEE 2022 Results & Score Card

The result and the rank list will be released on the official website of AEEE 2021. The AEEE rank list can be viewed using the login credentials.

AEEE 2021 results and the rank list include details such as the student’s name, the student’s AEEE registration number, the applicant's roll number, section-wise scores, and overall scores. The results with rank/ merit will be available on the website until one month after the announcement. The marks secured in AEEE 2021 will be valid for the academic year from 2021-24.

AEEE 2021 margin will be announced based on the student’s performance in the entrance test and their results that will get released online on the university's official website. Cut-off/ margin percentage is based on varied reasons. It is mandatory for applicants to outreach the margin criteria to qualify for the examination & to further participate in various processes.

AEEE 2021 Admission Cut Off:                

For enhancing the chances to get admissions in the University, the students should cross or reach the cut-off margin set by the University authorities. Students who clear the AEEE 2021 exam and match the cutoff margin announced by the Institute will later be called for the final round of selection. The cutoff might vary for the different campuses of AVVU and the specialization depending upon different criteria.

AEEE 2021 will have a Cut-Off standard score that the students will have to secure to qualify for the examination. The cut-off margin usually depends on students taking up the exam, seat availability, level of difficulty in the exam, and considers the previous year's margin.  The AVVU will announce the cut-off, and the applicants should carefully evaluate all these standards and then appear for the entrance exam for their interested stream in that University.

AEEE 2022 Counselling & Admission

AEEE 2021 counseling will be organized once the authorities declare the entrance test result. This counseling process will include various steps such as document verification, seat allotment, fee payment, etc.

Firstly the students have to register themselves for the counseling process by paying the applicable fees. Later, the students are advised to submit their original documents for the verification process. Finally, the seats will be allotted individually based on the AEEE score and JEE Main scores.

When filling the application for AEEE 2021, the candidates should select their preferred exam centers (city) for taking up the examination. AEEE 2021 exam center allotment for each registered candidate will be done based on the candidate's choice and the availability of seats.
