Joint Entrance Exam Board of Odisha conducts state-level entrance exams for the admissions to undergraduate level, lateral entry students, and post-graduate-level courses in Government and Private Colleges. The courses include B.Tech, B.Pharm, BHM, MBA, MCA, MCA lateral, etc. Minimum eligibility is required to apply for these courses, and willing candidates will have to register and proceed with the online mode's application process. The authorities send frequent notifications regarding any upcoming sessions on the official website.

OJEE 2025 can be taken offline or online, pen and paper-based or computer-based, respectively. Based on OJEE rank and the total number of seats, admission to the colleges is offered. The exam takes place only once a year. Those candidates securing marks to meet OJEE criteria will be eligible for the application and admission process.

OJEE 2025 Eligibility criteria

There are certain basic eligibility criteria to be cleared by the candidates to appear for the exam. The eligibility differs for every course the candidates choose. Also, there is a reservation percentage depending on the category the candidate belongs to. There are various factors candidates need to be eligible for, like age, nationality, qualification, etc. Henceforth, candidates must make sure OJEE 2025 Eligibility Criteria before filling OJEE 2025 application form. 

Age: There is no age limit for the candidates to apply

Educational Qualification: UG level candidates should be 12th passed with a minimum of 50% marks. PG-level candidates should be graduated and for later entry, candidates shall have a diploma passed or with bachelor's degree from the relevant background.

Lateral Entry B.Tech

Candidates should have a Diploma in Engineering for LE B.Tech admissions.

B.Pharm

Candidates must have 12th passed with Physics, Chemistry as main subjects, and Mathematics or Biology subjects.

Lateral Entry B.Pharm

Candidates must have completed a Diploma in Pharmacy for Lateral Entry B.Pharm admissions.

Lateral Entry B.Sc.

Candidates should have studied science subjects, i.e., Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics/Biology in 1st year engineering course/diploma and maths should be included in class 12th

MCA / Lateral Entry MCA

Candidates must hold a bachelor's degree in BCA/B.Com/B.Sc. Is eligible for MCA admissions.Despite any stream, candidates

 

dates must have completed a 3-4 years bachelor's stream.

M.Tech/ M.Arch/M.Plan

Candidates must have completed graduation from the relevant discipline.

OJEE 2025 Cut-off

From the exam point of view, the cut-off is an important criterion for getting college admissions. If candidates fulfill the universities' criteria further, they will be admitted to the colleges. The cut-off will be put up from the declaration of the OJEE 2025 results.

Depending on the course and the section, candidates need to meet the sectional cut-off to get admission to the institute's course. OJEE 2025 cut-off is the closing rank based category-wise for different courses in different colleges.

Based on factors like last year's cut-off, the exam's difficulty level, and the number of students who appeared for OJEE.

OJEE 2025 Application Form & fees

Initially, the OJEE 2025 registration process occurs, followed by filling up the OJEE 2025 application form in the official website's online mode. Candidates should have certain eligibility criteria to fill out the application form, and before the scheduled date, the form should be submitted. So, as per the courses A, B, C, D, E, F, the candidates who are willing to choose the form can also be filled the fee of the form varies as per the course. It is mandatory to follow the instructions and submit the correctly filled application form accordingly. The exam authority will likely release application forms for OJEE 2025 by the 2nd week of April 2025. The candidates should fill in the information carefully. Step 2: filling up the OJEE 2025 Application Form

  • Filling up of OJEE application form includes personal and student qualification details. Besides this, fill out the exam center according to your choice, and candidates can select up to 3 preferred exam centers
  • Once the personal details and exam center is filled go ahead with the education details, which should be filled incorrectly
  • After successfully filling up the information, click on the submit button to proceed further.

Step 3: Uploading of Photographs and Signature

  • In the JPG format, a passport-size photograph and signature should be scanned.
  •  The scanned images should be uploaded in one go such that partial uploading is not allowed.

Step 4: OJEE 2025 Application form fee

  • OJEE application fee can be deposited online that is through Debit/Credit/Net Banking by following the instructions to complete the payment process
  • Once the payment is successful, a confirmation page will be created.
  • For offline mode of fee, payment candidates need to download the slip of e-challan, and in the respective banks like Baroda branch, Bank of India and Canara branch can deposit the same cash.

OJEE 2025 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

As per the courses OJEE 2025 exam pattern varies, the exam is conducted offline for all the courses, and the exam medium is English. Through OJEE, candidates could take admissions for 10 programs under UG and PG levels. It is essential to know the syllabus to score a good rank in OJEE 2025.   • The mode of the test is a pen-paper-based test.

  • The answers must be marked using a black/blue pen only.

OJEE 2025 Admit Card

Admit cards of OJEE 2025 will be released on the official websites. Candidates without fail need to download the OJEE Admit Card. If the application form is successfully submitted, the candidate's admit card will be released with the necessary details. Candidates must access the admit card using the OJEE application number and password (login credentials). The admit card constitutes the exam date, venue, time, roll number, etc. It is expected that the exam authority will issue the admit cards for OJEE 2025 by 1st week of June 2025.

OJEE 2025 Results & Score Card

OJEE 2025 results are the most crucial part of knowing if the candidates have secured the minimum cut-off marks. The respective OJEE examination authority will announce the results. Candidates can actually check the OJEE results on the website through online mode. Once the results are out, candidates who have a valid ranking in OJEE Will be invited for OJEE 2025 counseling. The authority will declare the OJEE 2025 results by 1st week of July 2025. The steps given below are the detailed specification of the results.

Once the results are out, the Scorecard must be downloaded using the unique ID and password. The scorecard will be provided online on the official website.

The examination authority will also release a merit list based on the candidate’s ranking. OJEE scorecard holds candidates' marks and ranks obtained in the Odisha Joint Entrance Exam.

OJEE 2025 Counselling & Admission

OJEE counseling 2025 is the process of seat allotment, which will only be done online. Candidates need to register themselves for the counseling by logging into the official website. The registration for OJEE 2025 counselling will begin in July/August 2025. 

OJEE 2025 Counselling Procedure:

Before the last date, candidates are asked to register for counseling, and this can be done on the official website. The steps include;

  • The purpose of counseling is to seek admission to colleges for different Odisha courses.
  • In the online application form, candidates will choose the college and their choice.
  • Counseling will be done based on candidates' registration on the official website.
  • A non-refundable fee of OJEE 2025 counseling has to be paid, which is INR 450
  • At the time of document verification, original documents have to be shown.
  • At the first round of counseling, qualified candidates will be allotted seats and provisional courses.
  • The final allotment of seats will be done based on the colleges offering the course and the availability of total seats.

Which exam should I write for the Admissions to Btech program in Odisha state engineering institutes? Is it OJEE or JEE MAIN?

  • Btech program admissions at all the Government and Private Engineering Colleges in Odisha state that the candidates need to write the JEE Main Exam.
  • For applying to the Btech program at the engineering institutes of Odisha state, the candidate needs to fulfill the JEE Main Eligibility criteria.
  • Aadhaar card is mandatory for applying to JEE Main exam.
  • For other programs, the candidate can apply for the OJEE exam.

  • Qualification criteria: The candidate should be qualified in any branch of a recognized university.
  • Percentage Criteria: 50% marks aggregate (for Reserved cadre, 45%).
  • Domicile: the candidate should belong to the state of Odisha.
  • Final year appearing candidates can also apply for the OJEE exam. 

May I know the Fee for an Application form, and I need the details of the payment mode? 

Application form Fee Details: 

  • After the candidate fills the Application form, they need to make the required payment. 
  • For other programs, the Application form fee costs Rs 1000, and for MBA, MCA, PGAT, OJE, E Application form fee costs Rs 1500.
  • Payment of Application Form Fee can be made online via Credit card/Debit card/Net Banking. 
  • Application Form Fee payment can be made via offline mode, i.e., e-challan of SBI (State Bank of India).
