MBA Program

Executive MBA Program

Open enrollment and custom programs designed to help senior executives expand their global perspective and return to their organizations prepared to lead at a higher level. MS Program

Harvard's first degree program in Computational Science and Engineering is an intensive year of coursework leading to the Master of Science.

The one-year SM program, developed by the Institute for Applied Computational Science (IACS), provides rigorous training in the mathematical and computing foundations of CSE. Independent research projects and elective courses focusing on the application of computation to one or more domains complement the foundational coursework.

Admission Process at Harvard University

Harvard University applicants from outside the United States go through the same admissions process as American students.

Required Standardized Tests Score : Require standardized test scores from either the SAT or ACT (with Writing), and normally require two SAT subject tests. Note that the SAT II English Language Proficiency Test (ELPT) is not acceptable as one of the two SAT Subject Tests.

English Language Proficiency : A strong knowledge of English is essential for successful study at Harvard, including the ability to understand and express thoughts quickly and clearly. Although you are not required to take the Test of English as a Foreign Language (TOEFL) or other proficiency exams, you may submit your scores if you have done so.

Interviews : International applicants to have an interview if possible. If an interviewer is not available sufficiently close to you to make an interview possible, the absence of an interview will not adversely affect your candidacy. 

School Report and Mid-year school Reports (Including Transcripts ) : submit an official high school transcript, preferably submitted online through Parchment/Docufide or Scrip-safe International. The Mid-Year Report should be returned in February with your latest grades.

Teacher Evalutions : two teachers in different academic subjects who know you well to complete the Teacher Evaluation forms.

Application Timeline 

 - Early Action candidates apply by November 1 and receive notification by mid December.
 - Regular Decision candidates apply by January 1 and receive notification by late March. 

Note :  Be completely accurate in your application materials. If we discover a misrepresentation during the admissions process, you will be denied admission.

In addition to daily standards, like hot cereal or French toast for breakfast or a lunch-time sandwich bar, we often surprise students with more exotic offerings like saffron corn bisque or Indian-spiced mussels.
