Mar 25, 2021: National Testing Agency has released the CMAT 2021 Admit Card on 24th March 2021. Applicants who have successfully registered for CMAT will be able to download the admit card online by using their credentials (Application Number/Date of Birth).
Mar 23, 2021: NTA has proclaimed the exam date for CMAT 2021 and a change in the exam pattern. As per the notified schedule, CMAT 2021 will be held on 31st March 2021, and exam paper comprises an additional section called "Innovation & Entrepreneurship".
Mar 18, 2021: NTA has postponed CMAT 2021 Entrance Exam. It will be conducted by the last week of March 2021 or by the 1st week of April 2021.NTA will soon update the official dates of the CMAT on its respective website.
Common Management Admission Test [CMAT]
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2021 is a national level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency every year in the online mode computer-based test. Once a year, the exam is held in January for candidates to seek post-graduation admissions for the courses like MBA, PGDM, PGCM, or management-related programs. CMAT score is accepted by all the institutes/universities/colleges/departments, which AICTE has approved. As per the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) guidance, the Government of India CMAT will be conducted. The exam will be held in two shifts for 400 marks.
In the online mode on the official website, candidates shall apply for the exam and in November or December. There is no age limit for candidates to appear for the examination. Nearly in 245 exam centers, Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will be held online. Under AICTE approved MBA colleges, the total number of seats offered is 1.29 lakh seats. However, after the exam is conducted and the results are out, CMAT counseling is not held for candidates' admission. In contrast, the candidates' selection will be made separately organized by the participating institutions.

CMAT 2021 Eligibility criteria
To register for CMAT, candidates need to fulfill specific eligibility parameters like education qualification, age limit, nationality, minimum marks, etc. Candidates should be aware that the CMAT eligibility criteria 2021 for MBS and PGDM courses differ. Candidates willing to appear for CMAT need to check CMAT 2021 eligibility criteria for the programs he/she ready to get admitted to.
- Qualification: Aspirants must graduate from any recognized universities in any discipline. Candidates who are in the final year of their education and whose result will be declared before the commencement of the admission process are eligible to apply for CMAT.
- Nationality: The applying candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- Minimum Marks: The bachelor’s degree or the qualifying examination candidate must have a minimum of 50% and above aggregate to clear the CMAT 2021 eligibility criteria.
- Age Limit: The minimum age required is candidate should be 21 years of age while there is no upper age limit to apply for the CMAT examination.

CMAT 2021 Application Form & fees
Applicants who wish to seek admissions for MBA need to appear for the exam and for that he/she must fill the CMAT 2021 application form. The application form can be filled in online mode, that is, through the official website. After filling up the CMAT application form, admit card will be released, and candidates shall appear for the examination.
Usually, in November, CMAT registration will begin before the last date applicants need to submit the duly filled form. Through the CMAT account, the application form can be filled partially and can be saved to complete later. It is advised to applicants that they need to examine their eligibility before proceeding with the application process.
Steps to fill CMAT 2021 online registration
Step 1: Online Registration
By visiting the CMAT official website, candidates need to register online by registering themselves. Applicants shall create a password and choose a security question. After providing the personal details, an application number will be generated.
Step 2: Filling up Application Form
Please fill up the application form by providing the candidate's educational qualifications, personal details, age, selection of their exam centers, etc. Candidates choose to fill up 3 exam centers in the application form. Once the complete document is filled, do cross-check before the final submission.
Step 3: Scan and upload the documents
Once the application form is filled applicants shall proceed to the next section to scan the candidate’s documents or certificates and then upload the same. Candidates need to upload scanned images of photographs and signatures in the prescribed format.
Step 4: Application fee payment
Applicants to make the final submission of the application form, every candidate must complete the CMAT application fee payment in the online mode through debit/credit card/net banking. Based on the various category the application fee differs and is given below.

CMAT 2021 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
The CMAT exam will be conducted in January and held online, a computer-based test (CBT). The paper comprises 4 sections segregated into 25 questions in each area. CMAT exam pattern is straightforward for scoring. For each correct answer, +4 marks will be awarded, while there is a deduction of -1 marks for every incorrect answer. The total effects of the CMAT paper are 400 marks.

NTA will release CMAT 2021 Admit Card on the official website of CMAT after the online applications are accepted. Only for certain days downloading the admit card facility will be given, and candidates should download for future purpose. Candidates should preserve their CMAT 2021 until the CMAT results are declared. CMAT 2021 Results & Score Card
CMAT 2021 Exam is for candidates that want to get admission into management related courses. CMAT 2021 results will be released in the online mode. Candidates qualified in the examination shall be called for the respective colleges' selection process as there is no counseling round held. Before commencing the Counselling Process, candidates need to check for CMAT 2021 result section, which will be declared on the official website. Only those candidates’ secured good marks in the CMAT will be called for the selection process. After the CMAT examination is held within a short duration, CMAT 2021 results will be announced. The results will also be released along with the official site's merit list.
How to download CMAT 2021 Score Card?
Step 1: Visit the official website of CMAT to check results
Step 2: After logging in, on the top right of the main page, click on the Download Score Card button
Step 3: New page will be redirected where candidates need to enter their Login ID and Password, then click on the sign-in button.
Step 4: After successfully signing in, a new page, CMAT 2021 results will be displayed.
CMAT 2021 Counselling & Admission
National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the selection procedure for candidates, and the participating institutes will perform their respective selection procedures based on the score obtained and cut-off scores. Once the results and merit list are announced, the CMAT 2021 counseling or selection process occurs.
- Candidates need to register for CMAT 2021 counseling process. On the official website, registration will take place in the online mode.
- Candidates will select their desired college/institute later, which the conducting body will verify.
- Based on the available seats and the course opted by the candidate, allotment of hearts takes place now. Candidates will be required to report to the designated college/institute.
- Further documents will be verified and given admissions once the documents are submitted and fee payment is made.
- The candidates' final selection will be based on eligibility conditions comprising group discussion, written testability, and personal interviews.
