Common Management Admission Test [CMAT]
Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) 2023 is a national-level entrance exam conducted by National Testing Agency every year in the online mode computer-based test. Once a year, the exam is held in January for candidates to seek post-graduation admissions for the courses like MBA, PGDM, PGCM, or management-related programs. CMAT score is accepted by all the institutes/universities/colleges/departments, which AICTE has approved. As per the Ministry of Human Resource Development (MHRD) guidance, the Government of India CMAT will be conducted. The exam will be held in two shifts for 400 marks.
In the online mode on the official website, candidates shall apply for the exam in November or December. There is no age limit for candidates to appear for the examination. Nearly in 245 exam centers, Common Management Admission Test (CMAT) will be held online. Under AICTE approved MBA colleges, the total number of seats offered is 1.29 lakh. In contrast, the candidates' selection will be made separately and organized by the participating institutions.

CMAT 2023 Exam Date
CMAT 2023 is expected to be held on 26 February 2023. Whereas, CMAT 2023 application process will begin on November 15, 2023. CMAT 2023 Eligibility criteria
To register for CMAT 2032, candidates must fulfill CMAT 2023 Eligibility Criteria like education qualification, age limit, nationality, minimum marks, etc. Candidates willing to appear for CMAT need to check eligibility criteria before filling CMAT 2023 online application form.
- Qualification: Aspirants must graduate from any recognized universities in any discipline. Candidates who are in the final year of their education and whose result will be declared before the admission process are eligible to apply for CMAT 2023.
- Nationality: The applying candidate must be a Citizen of India.
- Minimum Marks: The bachelor’s degree or the qualifying examination candidate must have a minimum of 50% and above aggregate to clear the CMAT 2023 eligibility criteria.
- Age Limit: The minimum age required is candidate should be 21 years of age while there is no upper age limit to apply for the CMAT examination.

CMAT 2023 Application Form & fees
Applicants who wish to seek admission for MBA need to appear for the exam, and for that he/they must fill out the CMAT 2023 application form. Applicants can fill the application form online, that is, through the official website. Only successfully registered candidates will be able to access CMAT 2023 admit card. In mid of November 2022, CMAT 2023 registration will begin. It is recommended for the candidates to fill the application form before the deadline. The last date to apply for CMAT 2023 is January 15, 2023. Through the CMAT account, the application form can be filled partially and saved to complete later. It is advised that applicants need to examine their eligibility before proceeding with the CMAT application process.
How to apply for CMAT 2023?
Step 1: CMAT 2023 Online Registration
By visiting the CMAT official website, candidates need to register online by registering themselves. Applicants shall create a password and choose a security question. After providing the personal details, a unique CMAT 2023 application number will be generated.
Step 2: Filling in CMAT 2023 Application Form
Please fill up the application form by providing the candidate's educational qualifications, personal details, age, selection of their exam centres, etc. Candidates choose to fill up 3 CMAT 2023 exam centres in the application form. Once the complete document is filled, do cross-check before the final submission.
Step 3: Upload the scanned images of Documents
Once the application form is filled, applicants shall proceed to the next section to scan the candidate’s documents or certificates and then upload the same. Candidates need to upload scanned photographs and signatures in the prescribed format.
Step 4: CMAT 2023 Application fee payment
Applicants to make the final submission of the application form, every candidate must complete the CMAT 2023 application fee payment online through debit/credit card/net banking. Based on the various category the application fee differs and is given below.

CMAT 2023 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
NTA is likely to conduct CMAT 2023 by the second or last week of February 2023. The mode of CMAT examination is online, i.e. Computer Based Test. The CMAT 2023 question paper comprises 4 sections segregated into 25 questions in each area. According to the CMAT 2023 Marking Scheme, +4 marks will be awarded for each correct answer, while there is a deduction of -1 marks for every incorrect answer. The total mark for CMAT question papers is 400.

CMAT 2023 Admit Card
Once the CMAT 2023 application process concludes, NTA will release CMAT 2023 Admit Card on the official website of CMAT. Only successfully registered candidates will be able to access the admit card of CMAT 2023. However, it is expected that the admit cards will be issued by the first week of February 2023.
Candidates should preserve their CMAT 2023 Hall Ticket until the admission process gets complete. Admit Card is one of the most valuable documents required for candidates to appear for the examination else candidates will not be allowed to sit for the exam. Candidates need to download the CMAT 2023 Admit Card as it is essential for the candidate to carry to the examination hall to appear for the exam. Besides, CMAT admits card will be required during the document verification process. To access the admit card, candidates must use their CMAT 2023 application number and password, which was generated during the CMAT 2023 Registration Process.

CMAT 2023 Results & Score Card
CMAT 2023 results will be released in the online mode. Candidates who have obtained valid scores in CMAT are eligible to secure MBA admission in Top B Schools. In addition, candidates must satisfy the CMAT cut-off criteria. Each B School has its own cut-off criteria. Thus, applicants must apply for admission by knowing the cut-off requirements. Only those candidates who secured good marks in the CMAT will be called for selection. Usually, CMAT results will be announced soon after the conclusion of the exam. NTA is likely to release CMAT 2023 results by the last week of March 2023. Results will be available in the form of a scorecard.
How to download CMAT 2023 Score Card?
Step 1: Visit the official website of CMAT to check results.
Step 2: After logging in, click on the link for CMAT 2023 Score Card Download on the top right of the main page.
Step 3: New page will be redirected where candidates need to enter their Login ID and Password, then click on the sign-in button.
Step 4: After successfully signing in, a new page, CMAT 2023 results, will be displayed.
CMAT 2023 Counselling & Admission
National Testing Agency (NTA) will conduct the selection procedure for candidates, and the participating institutes will perform their respective CMAT selection procedures based on the score obtained and CMAT 2023 cut-off scores. Once the CMAT 2023 results and merit list are announced, the CMAT 2023 Counselling/Selection process will begin.
- Further documents will be verified and given admissions once the documents are submitted and fee payment is made.
- The candidates' final selection will be based on eligibility conditions comprising group discussion, written testability, and personal interviews.
