GMAT 2018 is known as Graduate Management Admission Test which is organized by the GMAC (Graduate Management Admission Council. This is an International level Entrance test and computer based exam. The test is conducted to provide admissions in Graduate Management program such as Master in Finance, Master in Business administration and more related programs offered by the foreign universities and institutions.

Approximately 6000 graduate business school worldwide accepts GMAT score for admission offered by in the management programmes. This entrance test is accessible in 114 countries all over the world with more than 600 exam centers. The applicant can schedule their exam all over the year in any test center and any date according to their priority

  • The applicants, who are interested to appear for GMAT 2018 exam, should check the exam dates. As such for this entrance test there is no scheduled date for the exam.
  • The applicants can choose their own preferred exam date and test city as per their ease.
  • The candidates can appear for GMAT exam up to five times within 12 months, but not more than once in a month.

Booking Slot, Time and Location:

Candidates should have to register for the examination 2 months before the examination commencement date so that they get sufficient time for exam preparation. Candidates will have to choose the time slot for entrance examination and the availability of the examination dates will be based on the local test centers. Once the time slot and the locational is finalized candidates will not be able to change it.

GMAT Eligibility criteria

In GMAT 2018 exam there is no set rules for eligibility criteria. The applicants need to follow the basic criteria’s for the test which are as follows:

  • The applicant should have to be a graduate from any recognized university/institute.
  • The candidate must be at least 18 years of age.
  • There is no restriction of upper age limit.
  • The other eligibility criteria will be assigned by the colleges or the universities where the applicant is obtaining for the admission.

 

GMAT Application Form & fees

  • GMAT 2018 registration is available through the whole year. The candidates need to register online for the entrance exam.
  • The candidates need to visit the official website of GMAT. The applicant can choose the exam date and center as per their accessibility.
  • Also there is a way for the applicants to retake the test after 16 days of the prior test, if not satisfied with the exam.
  • The candidates need to fill the application form carefully and no mistake will be considered, if there is any error the form might get rejected.
  • Six steps to be followed in the registration process that includes profile details, personal details, verify profile, exam schedule, exam details and payment process.
  • The candidate can choose 3 different examination centers.
  • The candidate need to pay the application fee, after paying the fee, the registration will complete.
  • The application fee costs US $250. The payment can be done through Credit Card and Debit Card.
  • Once the registration is complete the student can login to their accounts, can change the exam dates as required, re schedule their exam and can view scores.

 

GMAT Syllabus & Exam Pattern

  • The GMAT 2018 questionnaire consists of different types of questions. The question paper is divided into four parts.
  • The exam will be conducted only online computer based.
  • The total time duration is 3 hours and 30 minutes.
  • The total marks will be 800.
  • The four divisions in the question paper are: Analytical Writing Assessment, Integrated Reasoning, Quantitative and Verbal.

GMAT Admit Card

The GMAT 2018 admit card is a very important document for the candidate on the examination day to make entry in the exam hall which will be the entry ticket.

  • The admit card will be available on the official website of GMAT all the time.
  • The admit card contains all the details of the applicant such as roll number, registration number, gender specification etc.
  • The admit card of GMAT 2018 can be download after few days of the exam appointed.

Steps to download admit card:

  • Visit the GMAT official website and navigate to admit card link.
  • Provide the user id and password and click on submit.
  • Check the details and take the print out of the same.

GMAT Results & Score Card

GMAT 2018 is not having any particular date of result. The result will be shown to the applicants on the spot after completion of the examination. The official score card will be available after 20 days of the main examination. The result will have the total score and the sectional scores obtained by the candidates.

  • The candidate will receive an URL in the email through which he can access the Score Card. 
  • The candidate should take a print out of the result for the future counseling procedure.

Steps to access Results:

  • Visit GMAT official website and click on results link.
  • Login with the logging credentials and click on submit option.
  • Once the results are displayed take the printout for further reference.

Score Card:

Score card consists of the rank the student has attained in the GMAT entrance examination. The score is based on the Verbal Reasoning and Quantitative Reasoning scores. The total score will not be influenced based on the Analytical Writing Assessment and Integrated Reasoning scores. The result mentioned in the score card is the ultimate marks obtained by the candidate and there will be score for change of score obtained by the applicant.

I want to know the GMAT Registration process and how many times could I apply for the GMAT exam? 

GMAT Registration process

  • In order to apply for GMAT exam, the candidate has to register via online mode.
  • GMAT Registration process will be held throughout the year.
  • The aspirants can give the 5 times in a year whereas 1 time within one month.
  • The candidates can select their preferable exam dates and exam center.
  • GMAT candidates will be having the option of rescheduling their exam date.

Steps to get GMAT Result:

GMAT Exam Pattern Details:

  • GMAT exam will be held in online mode i.e. Computer based Test.  
  • In GMAT Exam pattern, there will be 4 sections.
  • The first section is Analytical Writing Assessment. The duration of this section is 30 minutes.
  • The second section is Integrated Reasoning. The duration of this section is 30 minutes.
  • Third section is Quantitative Abilities. The duration of this section is 75 Minutes.
  • Fourth section is Verbal. The duration of this section is 75 Minutes. 
  • The Max marks is 800. 


Where will get GMAT Admit card? 

GMAT Admit card Details:

  • No such GMAT Admit card will be given to the registered applicants.  
  • For the GMAT exam, aspirants will have the option of downloading the confirmation letter which comprises the details about test date and test centre.
  • This way the candidates can easily get the information about the exam date and centre.

GMAT Eligibility Criteria

  • Qualification criteria: Aspirants need to be qualified in their Bachelor’s degree from a recognized University in order to fulfill the GMAT Eligibility criteria.
  • Most of the management institutes will have their own eligibility norms where the candidate needs to fulfill at the time of admission.
  • Age criteria: The candidate has to complete their minimum 18 years of age and there will no upper Age limit.
