Eligibility Criteria of Gujarat Common Entrance Test (GUJCET)

The GSEB has outlined the GUJCET 2024 eligibility criteria in its information booklet. The criteria include aspects such as  GUJCET age limit, qualification, domicile, and more. Only students meeting the GUJCET eligibility criteria 2024 will be allowed to take the Gujarat CET. Therefore, students should review the eligibility criteria before completing the application form. GSEB has updated the GUJCET 2024  exam dates, setting the offline exam for 31 March.

General Eligibility Requirements for GUJCET 2024

Before applying for the GUJCET 2024 exam, students must carefully review the eligibility criteria. The GUJCET 2024 application form of students who do not meet the eligibility criteria will face rejection. The exam authority has specified the following eligibility conditions for GUJCET 2024.

  • The student must be an Indian with a Gujarat domicile.
  • Students should have either passed or appeared for Class 12 or an equivalent exam.
  • Students should have secured a minimum of 45% in Class 12. And it is 40% for the reserved category in Class 12.

GUJCET 2024 Eligibility Criteria: Course Wise

For B Pharm Course

The eligibility criteria for Pharmacy courses are as follows.

  • Students must have passed the class 12 exam. Students must pass from the Gujarat State Education Board or any other recognized board in India.
  • Students must have passed the class 12th exam with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects. Subjects also include Maths/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects.
  • Students must have secured at least 45% marks in the class 12 exam. It is 40% marks for SC/ST & SEBC Students.
  • Students appearing for their qualifying exam in the current year are also eligible to apply.

For Engineering Courses

  • Students need to pass the class 12 exam from the Gujarat State Education Board or any other recognized board in India.
  • Students must pass the class 12 exam with Physics and Maths as compulsory subjects. Along with Chemistry/Biotechnology/Biology/Technical Vocational Subjects.
  • Students must achieve a minimum of 45% marks in the class 12 exam. It is 40% marks for SC/ST & SEBC.
  • Students appearing in their qualifying exam in the present year are also eligible to apply.
