State Bank of India is recognized to be one of the most reliable and oldest banks in India. A number of students aspire to get a job in this bank. SBI or State Bank of India will be releasing recruitment notice for 20,000 posts of Junior Agriculture Associated in the clerical department and Junior Associates in the month of April 2024. The examination for the recruitment of SBI Clerk is conducted in two phases- the preliminary and the Main. The preliminary examination for SBI clerk will be held tentatively in the month of May or June. Candidates qualifying for the preliminary test will be notified about the main examination which will be conducted tentatively in the month of July. The marks obtained in the main examination will be considered for choosing candidates for the posts of SBI clerk. No interview will be held for the recruitment of candidates in SBI clerk 2024 examination. Weightage will be conferred to the candidates in accordance with the marks scored in the main examination. SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 Eligibility criteria

SBI has set some eligibility norms which candidates need to fulfill for appearing in the SBI Clerical examination. Candidates who are residents of India are eligible for appearing in the examination. Candidates need to attain an age of 20 years for appearing in the examination. Candidates of more than 28 years age are not eligible for appearing in the examination.

Relaxation is provided in the upper age limit to Schedule caste, schedule tribe, physically handicapped and Ex-Servicemen in accordance with Government rule. For Junior Associates, candidates need to complete graduation from a recognized university. For Junior Agricultural Associates, candidates should have completed graduation in Agriculture from a recognized University.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 Application Form & fees

The application form for SBI Clerk test can be availed from April 2017. The application form can be submitted only online. Candidates can fill the application form in the official website of State Bank of India. Candidates need to fill name, email ID, contact number for registering them online. They need to upload photograph and signature while submitting the application form.

Applicants require paying an application fee while submitting the application form. General candidates require paying application fees of Rs. 600 whereas Schedule caste, schedule tribe, and physically handicapped students need to pay fees of Rs. 100. The application fees can be paid online with the use of Internet Banking, debit card, credit card, etc.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

The syllabus is recognized to be the detailed outline of topics which are a prerequisite for the examination. The syllabus for SBI clerk examination comprises of the important topics such as English, Quantitative and Reasoning. The syllabus for the main examination, on the other hand, comprises of topics from computer aptitude and Reasoning Ability, Quantitative Aptitude, English, General English.

There is an allotment of 100 marks for qualifying the preliminary examination. Marks are deducted for wrong answers in the examination. There is an allotment of 200 marks in the main examination. There is time allotment of 1 hour for completing the preliminary paper whereas 2 hours and 40 minutes are allotted for the main examination. For every wrong answer, 1/4 marks are deducted in the main examination.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 Admit Card

State Bank of India issue admit card for preliminary and Main examination of SBI clerk. Admit card is issued to the eligible candidates two weeks before the commencement of examination. The admit card can be downloaded from the official website of State Bank of India.

For accessing admit card for SBI Clerk exam, candidates need to enter login credentials such as name, date of birth etc. Admit card is considered to be an essential part of the exam. It is mandatory to carry the admit card on the day of examination.

SBI Clerk Recruitment 2024 Results & Score Card

The results for SBI Clerk are announced in two stages- preliminary and main examination. State Bank of India first announces the results of preliminary examination after which they are called for the main examination. Candidates need to log in with the use of roll number, date of birth for viewing the results.

In the main examination, candidates who will be securing high in merit will be offered an appointment. The marks of both preliminary and main examination are declared by State Bank of India a few days after the commencement of the examination. The results of the preliminary examination will be announced tentatively in the month of June 2024 whereas the results of the main examination will be announced in September/ October 2024.
