SNAP - Symbiosis University Aptitude Test

SNAP is also known as Symbiosis National Aptitude Test, the Symbiosis University, Pune conduct. This offers a Postgraduate course to aspiring candidates who are willing to join the Symbiosis International University program.

This is a national level entrance test. The applicants need to go through the written and personal interviews once clearing the entrance test. The University conducts the entrance in December.

SNAP entrance test will be held in December 2020 for admission to MBA Programme for the academic year.

SNAP Exam 2020 Eligibility Criteria

The SNAP applicants are advised to look into the eligibility criteria before filling up the registration form. If the criteria are not matching, it might happen that the form will get canceled by the exam authority.
The following are the criteria’s for the eligibility of SNAP:

  • The candidates should have passed graduation in any stream from a recognized university or institution.
  • The minimum marks for the general category candidate is 50% in aggregate.
  • The marks are reduced to 45% in aggregate (for SC/ST Category).
  • The applicant who has completed their degree from any foreign university must have the equivalent certificate from the Association of Indian Universities (AIU).

SNAP Exam 2020 Application Form

  • SNAP Application form will be available online on the official website of SNAP. The application form is available from 28 August to 26 November ).
  • The application form fee can be paid through different modes like Demand Draft, Online payment Gateway(NET Banking), Cash, and By credit card.
  • The following are the few steps to be followed:
  • The application form is available online. The link is given (www.snaptest.org).
  • The candidates need to click on ‘Apply Online’ and the details to be filled in carefully –Like the name, address, age, gender, academic qualification details, etc.
  • Once the application form is filled, the candidates need to upload their scanned images of the recent photographs.

SNAP Exam 2020 and Exam Pattern

  • SNAP will have objective type questions like MCQ Pattern in the question paper.
  • There will be 180 questions, each question will have four options, and the applicants need to choose the correct one. Each correct answer will reward 1 mark, and each incorrect answer will deduct ¼ of the marks.
  • The exam's total duration will be 2 hours (120 minutes).
  • The question paper will have four different sections like General English, Quantitative, Data Interpretation, Data Sufficiency, General Awareness, and Analytical and Logical Reasoning. The candidates need only a blue or Black point pen to answer.

SNAP Exam 2020 Admit Card

SNAP Admit card will be available online on the official website of SNAP. The following are the dates between which the candidates can download the admit card (December 01 till Sunday, December 18). The candidates need to paste the recent passport size colored photograph on the admit card before appearing for the test.

An authorized person from Symbiosis International University will verify and authenticate the Admit Card against the photo-id before entering the examination hall. The candidates are advised to keep the admit card safely till the admission procedure. If the admit card is lost, a duplicate card will not be issued. The candidates need to carry the id proofs like:

  • Passport
  • Driving license
  • College/Institute Identity Card
  • Credit card with photograph
  • Voter ID Card
  • Pan Card
  • AADHAR Card (UID)

  • Login with the provided login credentials.
  • Check the details and take the print out for further reference.

SNAP Exam 2020 Result and Scorecard

SNAP Result will declare on the 2nd week of January. The counseling will be done based on the marks obtained by the candidates. The result will be declared on the official website of SNAP website

SNAP Exam 2020 Counseling and Admission

The admission procedure will comprise three stages GE-PIWAT (Group Exercise, Personal Interaction, and Writing Ability Test). A final merit list will be prepared after these stages based on marks scored in SNAP and GE-PIWAT. Students will be informed for admission based on the merit list. After that, students have to report to the respective institution for their admission.

Documents required for Counseling:

  • Original and at least two attested copies of the 10th & 12th certificate and SNAP Rank card.
  • Original and photocopy of SNAP hall ticket.
  • Minimum 6 passport size photography.
  • Bank Draft as per the guidelines mentioned on SNAP prospect.
  • Community certificate signed by authorized authority (if applicable).

SNAP Exam 2020 FAQ

To get MBA admissions at SNAP University, Is it compulsory to write the SNAP exam?

Yes, the candidates must write SNAP Exam to get MBA admissions at SNAP University.
Symbiosis National Aptitude Test (SNAP) is the university level examination that Symbiosis University holds for MBA admissions.

Candidates who qualify in the SNAP exam will be further sent to the next selection rounds, and those are Group Exercise, Personal Interview, and WAT (Written Admission Test). The respective symbiosis institutes will manage these rounds.

 

Where will I be able to get SNAP Result? 

Steps to check SNAP Result:

  • Candidates are required to visit the official website to check the SNAP Result.
  • The candidates can check the SNAP result only via online mode.
  • Aspirants need to enter their respective Roll numbers and also other important details.
  • Then they must click on the submit button. 
  • SNAP Result will be displayed on the screen. This result determines whether the candidates are getting qualified for further rounds or not.

Details on SNAP Admission process:

  • There are 3 stages in the SNAP Admission process.
  • The First stage is Group Exercise, where this round comprises 10 marks.
  • The second stage is the Personal Interview, where this round comprises 30 marks.
  • The third stage is the Writing Ability Test (WAT), where this round comprises 10 marks. 
  • After completing all the stages, a final merit list will be made according to the score obtained in the SNAP exam and GE-PIWAT rounds. 
  • Then the results will be informed to the students.
  • The students need to report to the respective symbiosis institutes to confirm their admission.

  • The candidates need to refer to the appropriate SNAP Preparation Books, and they can also go through the online materials.
  • One must mainly focus on the sections such as General Awareness and General English. 
  • One must always practice previous SNAP Question papers, and also, they can opt for SNAP Mock tests.
  • One must maintain the timetable for each section, which will help in Time Management during the SNAP exam.

Complete Details on SNAP Exam Pattern:

  • SNAP exam will be scheduled in offline mode, i.e., Pen and Paper-based Test.  
  • SNAP exam will have 4 sections: Quantitative, General Awareness, Data Interpretation & Data Sufficiency, General English, and Analytical & Logical Reasoning.
  • In the SNAP Exam pattern, The Total Number of questions is 150 (MCQs). 
  • The duration of the SNAP exam is 2 Hours.
  • In the SNAP Exam pattern, for every right answer, 1 mark will be provided.
  • 25% negative marks will be applicable for every incorrect answer.

SNAP 2022 Admit Card

Symbiosis International Deemed University will issue the Admit Cards for SNAP 2020 on 5th December 2020 on its official website (@ snaptest.org) via online mode. Candidates who have been registered successfully for the SNAP 2020 entrance exam can avail of the admit card by logging into their registered account using the credentials created during the SNAP 2020 application process. Candidates will be able to download the admit card till 20th December 2020.

It must be noted, and SNAP Admit Card is an important identity for the test-takers, which need to carry mandatory examination date at the exam center and any ID proofs, namely a Passport/Driving License/Voter ID/Pan Card and Aadhaar Card. Also, candidates must preserve the SNAP 2020 admit card till the conclusion of group discussion & personal interview rounds.

Also, it is advisable for the candidates to immediately contact the concerned admission authority in case any discrepancy is found in the details specified in the admit card. If details mismatch during the examination thereafter, candidature might get canceled.

According to the agenda, the SNAP 2020 examination will be conducted on 20th December 2020 and 6th & 9th January 2021 in online mode (computer-based test). The varsity has revised the SNAP 2020 exam pattern. As per the revised pattern, special questions have been scrapped, and for the upcoming SNAP exam, there will be 3 sections only, and the exam time duration has been deducted to 60 minutes earlier. It was 120 minutes.
