Joint Entrance Examination Advanced [JEE - Advanced]
JEE Advanced 2018 is mostly known as Joint Entrance Examination Advanced which is a National level Engineering Entrance Exams conducted by the seven Zonal IITs. JEE Advanced is considered to be one of the toughest examinations in India for the engineering candidates after their class 12th.
Only for the candidates who has appeared for JEE Mains 2018 are eligible for JEE Advanced 2018 as this is considered to be the 2nd Phase of Examination for the engineering admissions offered by the Top IITs in India. JEE advanced examination is conducted for the candidates looking admission in Bachelor’s, Integrated and Dual Degrees in Engineering and Architecture offered by the IITs. The applicants can sit for this examination twice.

JEE - Advanced 2021 Eligibility criteria
- The applicant must have appeared for JEE Main 2018 Examinations with a minimum cut off marks. Top 2 lakh students of JEE Main examination will be considered for JEE Advanced.
- The applicant should be born after 1st October 1991 for General and OBC Caste. For SC/ST, the applicant must be born before 1st October, 1996.
- The candidates who has appeared for JEE Main Exam can apply for JEE Advanced in the following 2 consecutive years.
- The applicants interested for JEE Advanced 2017 need to score 75% minimum marks in class 12th.
JEE - Advanced 2021 Application Form & fees
- The applicant need to visit the following website: Http//jeeadv.iitb.ac.in for the form fill up.
- The candidate can apply once after the results are announced for JEE Main 2018.
- The registration will start from the last week of April.
JEE - Advanced 2021 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
- The JEE Advanced 2018 Examination will be conducted through offline (Pen or Paper Mode) and Online (Computer Mode).
- The Examination will consist of 2 papers with the duration of 3 hours for each paper. The candidates have to attempt both the papers mandatorily.
- The examination papers has been divided into 3 individual sections such as Physics, Chemistry and Mathematics.
- The question pattern will be MCQ types as well as numerical type questions.
- There will be Negative Marking also for some set of questionnaire.
- The applicant can opt for the question papers in both English and Hindi language. This preference can be mentioned at the time of registration only
JEE - Advanced 2021 Admit Card
The candidates can apply for the admit card online once the registration procedure is complete. They can download the admit cards from official website of JEE Advanced 2017 in the 2nd week of May.
While registering for the admit card the candidate must fill with all proper information’s such as signature, date of Birth, Language mode, Photograph, Address and Category.
JEE - Advanced 2021 Results & Score Card
JEE Advanced 2018 result will be declared online in the 2nd week of June, 2018. The candidates who will be qualified can check their result category wise AIR (All India Ranking) after the result is getting declared on the official website
JEE - Advanced 2021 Counselling & Admission
The selection procedure of JEE Advanced 2018 will be by the JSAA ( Joint seat allocation Authority) through centralize counseling by which the seats will be offered by the IITs, NITs, ISM and other Govt. funded technical institutes.
The candidate has to appear for the joint seat allocation process for the seat distribution and the schedule for the allotment process will be processed separately.
