LBSIM Executive MBA Syllabus (Program Structure)

Six trimesters comprise the 2 Year EMBA. The course of study has been structured to ensure that LBSIM's management graduates possess a thoughtful mix of tactical implementation, strategic thinking, specialist knowledge, and general management abilities.

At the end of the school year, the students must complete Summer Training and the 21 required core courses. The chance for the students to enrol in a foreign language as an elective subject is also possible.

Before the start of regular classes, the EMBA equivalent PGDM Business Administration Student Connect Program is offered to assist prospective candidates in adjusting to the demands of the Program by providing courses that close the knowledge gap between the undergraduate degree (in various disciplines) & Curriculum.

The Program is divided into six trimesters.

The first three trimesters focus on providing a solid foundation in general management through core courses. The next three trimesters are dedicated to acquiring specialized knowledge through various elective courses.

All classroom teaching takes place on Saturdays and Sundays.

First Year: In the first year, students cover 18 core courses. These courses entail a cumulative classroom teaching of 540 hours.

Second Year: Students engage in 4 core and 8 elective courses during the second year. It adds up to a total of 360 hours of classroom teaching.

Project Duration: The Summer and Final Projects carry 6 credits each. Each project also involves 180 hours of effort.

Program Requirements: The Program mandates the completion of 22 core courses, 8 elective courses, 1 Summer Project, and 1 Final Project. This amounts to 102 credits and 1260 hours of dedicated study and project work.
