UKSEE - Uttarkhand State Entrance Examination

Uttarkhand Technical University, Dehradun conducts Uttarkhand State Entrance Examination (UKSEE) to serve admissions for students in B.Pharm, M.Tech and MCA etc. and for few of the lateral entry courses in order to choose any of the college for pursuing education in Uttarkhand. Candidates willing sit for the exam UKSEE will undergo application process which will be held online mode. This is a state level entrance exam which will be held offline (pen & paper-based) mode. Usually in the month of May UKSEE takes place every year.

Before the candidate undergoes application process of UKSEE need to be eligible as per certain criteria so the application form will not be rejected. After a few days of submitting the application form, admit card of UKSEE shall be released and bringing the admit card to the examination hall is mandatory. A few days after the examination, results of UKSEE will be announced and qualified candidates will be eligible to attend the counselling of UKSEE.

On an average 33,000 students can be expected to sit for the exam in the aim of getting admissions through this entrance exam for various programs. A total of 132 affiliated colleges and 8 constituent are under Uttarkhand Technical University. Uttarkhnad State domicile students shall be eligible to apply for lateral entry programs like B.Pharm, B.Tech and MCA.

UKSEE 2021 Exam Date

Every year in the month of May UKSEE exam will be held and registration forms will be released in April Month. In the official website of UKSEE applicants can apply. However, the exam dates in the May month keeps changing every year according to certain norms which will be announced by the UKSEE authorities. Because the exam takes place only once in a year it is necessary for candidates to keep the track of important dates so that they do not miss out.

UKSEE 2021 Eligibility criteria

As prescribed by the UKSEE board aspirants must be eligible in order to apply by filling the application form of UKSEE. Based on certain criteria and various factors eligibility of the candidate will be decided also for each different course UKSEE eligibility differs.

  • To apply for the exam applicants must have minimum 45% and above aggregate in their previous academics in the appropriate domain from a recognised institute.
  • To appear for UKSEE there is no age limit put up.
  • Under Uttarkhand quota, domicile of Uttarkhand students qualified in previous academics are eligible to take admissions.
  • Applicants being passed in the qualifying exam of Uttarkhand Technical Board shall be eligible for seeking lateral entry admissions.

B.Tech Lateral Entry

Diploma passed in relevant branch of engineering with at least 45% aggregate are eligible

B.Pharm 

Intermediate passed with PCM/B or related subject

B.Pharm Lateral Entry

Diploma passed (after 10+2 in pahrmacy-allopathy of 2 years duration) or equivalent having secured not less than 60% marks are eligible

MCA 

Holding bachelors' degree keeping Math as main subject having obtained minimum 50% marks in the qualifying exam

MCA Lateral Entry

BCA/B.Sc. passed keeping Math as core subject in 12th are eligible

M.Tech

Pursued bachelor's degree in BE/B.Tech or related degree securing 50% and above

MBA

Bachelor's degree in any discipline is accepted having secured 50% and above marks

UKSEE 2021 Application Form & fees

Application form of UKSEE will be released online filling up the form with correct details is mandatory only after the submission of application form aspirants can sit for the exam. Make sure before seeking for the form there are necessary documents and details in hand. For a period of almost one month application form portal will be open.

  • In the month of April application form will be released in the official website of UTU and applicants can register in the online mode.
  • Application fee of UKSEE will be INR 1500 for GEN/OBC category applicants while that of for SC/ST applicants it will be INR 750. The application fee is non-refundable.
  • Only those applicants who can meet the eligibility criteria can apply and candidates willing to apply for more than one course need to submit separately filled application forms.

How to fill UKSEE application form

Step 1: Registration Process

To fill the application form of UKSEE online applicants need to visit the official website of UTU, in this process applicant will provide their personal details, the course they are applying for and check for the declaration box and submit the form. Once the registration is successful, a number will be generated which has to be noted by the students for future logins.

Step 2: Login and Fill the application form

With the registered ID and DOB applicants will be able to login, once the candidate is logged in by providing their credentials need to fill the form with valid information of personal details like name, valid mobile number, maid ID, address etc. While choosing the exam centre tick it carefully as the request for any changes are not accepted.

Step 3: Uploading the Documents

Applicants are required to upload the scanned images and other mentioned documents in the specified format and size.

Step 4: Payment of Application Fee

Application fee of UKSEE for the category OBC/Gen is INR 1500 and for SC/ST category students it is INR 750 the fee will have to be paid online mode via Debit/Credit or through net banking only.

Exam Pattern of UKSEE

A glimpse of actual exam pattern of how the UKSEE exam paper will appear is given for reference purpose. The complete paper will be of objective type questions (MACQs) and there are 9 papers for different courses. By knowing the exam pattern of UKSEE candidates will get an idea regarding the examination and how the paper appears for the exam.

  • Mode of Exam: Candidates will sit for offline mode exam that is pen and paper based exam, answers will be marks in the specially designed OMR sheets
  • Type of questions: Multiple Choice Questions (MCQs)
  • Marks allotted: The marks for correct answer differs based on the paper and no negative marks for incorrect answer.
  • Language of the paper: In English the complete paper will be set up
  • Duration of the exam: From 1 hour to 2 hours it differs for each paper

UKSEE 2021 Admit Card

On successful submission of application form UKSEE admit card will be issued by UKTU and will be released online. Candidates will have to login using registration ID and DOB to download the admit card. It is an important piece of paper that is mandatory for students to carry to the examination hall. If the candidate fails to carry their admit card will not be able to sit for the examination.

The admit card or hall ticket of UKSEE contains important details like personal details, roll number, timings and exam centre information if there is found to be any wrong details he/she need to report to the authorities to get it rectified.

Steps to download UKSEE Admit Card

  • In the official website of UKSEE navigate to admit card link
  • In the login window enter registration ID and DOB
  • By clicking on the ‘Login Button’ UKSEE admit card will be displayed
  • Download the admit card and take a printout of the same

UKSEE 2021 Results & Score Card

Within a month of examination, results of UKSEE will be declared online in the official site, usually in the month of June the results will be announced. In the first step the score obtained by the candidates will be announced later merit list will be released where the list contains the names of the aspirants who have secured more score than the cut-off put up. The authorities will release answer key along with the results. Candidates qualified in the result are eligible for counselling sessions once the cut-off of UKSEE is out.

  • Candidates can check for the results of UKSEE for the course you have applied
  • Results of UKSEE will appear in the screen
  • It is advised to cross-check the result and download the same for further reference

UKSEE 2021 Counselling & Admission

It is a step by step process taking place once the results are announced and candidates are shortlisted those merit candidates will be eligible for UKSEE counselling. UTU conducts the counselling session of UKSEE and candidates will have to appear for the counselling. It is necessary to register in the online portal in order to attend the counselling. There is counselling fee of INR 1000 has to be paid by the candidates to attend the process of selection.

The eligible candidates will receive the call letter on their registered email ID, those who have received seat allotment need to report to the respective college for document verification and further admission process. UKSEE counselling will be held in 2 rounds and both the rounds shall take place mostly in July.
