• The student must be an Indian citizen.
• The student may also be a subject of Nepal or Bhutan. Tibetan refugees who arrived in India before January 1st, 1962, and wanted to settle in India permanently are also eligible.
• Students who have migrated from Pakistan, Sri Lanka, Kenya, Uganda, Tanzania, Zambia, Ethiopia, Vietnam, or Burma and want to settle permanently in India are eligible to apply.

Education Qualification Required for Railway Jobs

Students for RRB NTPC are mandated to achieve their class 12^th or its equivalent from a UGC-recognized university. Some posts demand additional qualifications, such as a degree or diploma in a specific discipline. Check the table below.

• The Typing Skill Test will take place on a computer, using Kruti Dev and Mangal fonts for the Hindi typing portion.
• Students facing permanent disabilities such as Blindness/Low Vision, Cerebral Palsy, and Locomotor Disability (with not less than 40% permanent disability) are not allowed to take the Typing Skill Test.
• These individuals must upload a scanned copy of the certificate before the typing skill test.
• Only students who successfully qualify will be on the merit list.

Age Limit for Railway Jobs 2024

The RRB NTPC comprises two levels of exams. One is for undergraduate posts, and the other is for graduate posts. The age limit for RRB NTPC Undergraduate and Graduate posts is 18 to 33 years.

Government guidelines grant students for RRB NTPC age relaxation:

• SC/ST/OBC-NCL (Non-Creamy Layer) students applying for unreserved vacancies do not qualify for age relaxation.
• It is crucial to note that the date of birth provided in the application form must align with the date of birth specified in the documents. Requests to alter the date of birth after submission are not allowed.
• Age relaxation for OBC NCL is 3 years.
• Age relaxation for SC / ST is 5 years.

It is payable both online and offline. Female and Transgender students have an application fee of Rs. 250. SC / ST / Minority Community / Economically backward class also have an application fee of Rs. 250.

Students who successfully update their bank account details and attend the RRB NTPC CBT 1 exam will receive a refund. Students in the SC / ST / ExSM / Female / PwBD / Minority / Transgender / EBC categories are entitled to a full refund of their exam fees of Rs. 250. In contrast, students in the General/EWS/OBC categories receive a partial refund of their examination fees, amounting to Rs. 400 after deducting the bank charges. • Provide the name, father's name, academic qualification, and other relevant details of the scribe in the case of PwD (Physically disabled/Disabled) students.

After submitting the form, applicants will have the opportunity to make minor adjustments to the RRB NTPC 2024 application. Students are required to pay a modification fee of Rs. 100. However, during modifications, alterations to their phone number, email ID, and RRB region will not be permissible.

RRB NTPC 2024 CBT 2 Syllabus

As for the RRB NTPC CBT 2 Syllabus, it consists of three sections: General Intelligence and Reasoning, Mathematics, and General Awareness. • The RRB NTPC exam pattern includes the first-stage CBT, second-stage CBT, CBAT, typing skill test, and document verification/medical exam.

RRB NTPC 2024 CBAT Exam Pattern

The CBAT is administered to students who have chosen Traffic Assistant and Station Master. The questions and answer choices are provided in both English and Hindi. To pass this test, students must attain a minimum of 42 marks. CBAT does not involve negative marking. To be eligible for document verification, students must secure 70% in CBT 2 and 30% marks in CBAT.

RRB NTPC 2024 Typing Test Exam Pattern

The typing skill test is administered for positions such as Senior Clerk cum Typist, Junior Accounts Assistant cum Typist, Senior Time Keeper, Junior Clerk cum Typist, Accounts Clerk cum Typist, and Junior Time Keeper.
