Tolani Maritime Institute of Science Aptitude Test [TMISAT ]
Tolani Maritime Institute conducts a university level entrance exam called Tolani Maritime Institute of Science Aptitude Test(TMISAT) to provide admission to the candidates, and it is one of the largest maritime educational centers offering MARINE ENGINEERING and NAUTICAL SCIENCE degree programs in affiliation with Indian Maritime University, a Central University. Tolani Maritime Institute is committed to being an instrument of positive change in the maritime industry for society's ultimate benefit. TMISAT 2024 Eligibility criteria
Candidates seek admission into B. Tech courses in Marine Engineering and Nautical Technology of TMI have to meet the following criteria to be eligible for access to B. Tech courses:
- Candidates must have passed their Senior Secondary Examination (10+2) or its equivalent with at least 60% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Mathematics and at least 50% marks in English either in Class X or Class XII.
- Candidates having Class 12 from the International Board of Education will also be eligible to apply for the Admission Test. They must submit the ‘Equivalence Certificate’ issued by the Association of Indian Universities.
TMISAT 2024 Application Form & fees
The candidate can fill the application form online or purchase from the national centers of TMI, available from April.
There are few detailed points which are given below, to be followed by the student while filling the application form.
Online & Offline modes:
Candidates can apply through the official website http://www.tolani.edu/tmi/. They will be required to pay INR 1000/- as an application fee for the TMISAT Application Form via Credit/Debit Cards or through DD/Pay order drawn in favor of “Tolani Maritime Institute,” payable Pune.
Candidates will be required to take the printout of the duly filled application form and send it along with the transaction receipt in case of online payment OR along with Demand Draft/Pay Order to TMI.
Candidates must mention their TMISAT Application Form number and contact details on the draft's backside.
TMISAT 2024 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
The exam patterns for TMISAT are mentioned below:
- The exam will be conducted online and consist of multiple-choice questions (MCQs).
- Question papers will consist of subjects like Physics, Chemistry, Mathematics, English, Logical reasoning, and analytical problem-solving.
- The exam will have a total of 100 questions to attempt. There is no negative marking in other sections except Physics and Mathematics.
- The total duration of the exam will be 3 hours.
- Exam Pattern is designed to test candidates on various skills like problem-solving skills, reasoning skills, language skills, general knowledge, subject knowledge, and aptitude and personality traits.
TMISAT 2024 Admit Card
The admit card will be available online on the official website; the candidates have to download the hall ticket. Admit Card must be carried by the candidates while appearing for the exam. No candidate will be allowed not to have the Admit Card. In case of loss of the card, it must be reported to the exam controller office to provide a duplicate card to enter the examination hall.
TMISAT 2024 Results & Score Card
The results will be published online in June between the 2nd to 3rd week, and the cut-Off for the exam will also be declared. The counseling schedule and details of it will be available on the official website. The applicants can download their results using their roll number and application ID. The candidates have to make sure that they have the medical certificate ready before the counseling starts.
TMISAT 2024 Counselling & Admission
The institute will conduct the Counselling for TMISAT in the first week of July, before appearing in the counseling; candidates must have finalized their choices, which will be required during TMISAT.
TMI SAT Counselling Procedure is given below:
- Once the results have been announced, the candidate will be called for the Interview.
- After qualifying for the Interview, candidates will have to appear and clear the Medical Test for admission.
- Seats in undergraduate engineering courses will be allotted to the qualified candidates based on marks/ranks obtained by them in Tolani Maritime Institute Science Aptitude Test (TMISAT). If an applicant doesn’t take admission in the allotted course, his seat will be assigned to any other candidate based on his/her rank in the merit list.

Once allotted, the exam centers cannot be changed under any circumstances. In case of a valid reason, the exam controller office will have all authority to change the exam city. The exam centers for TMSIT are given below:-
