CUSAT CAT 2024 Application Form, Exam Dates, Eligibility, Pattern and Syllabus

CUSAT CAT Exam 2024 will be conducted online mode. The admission authorities of CUSAT have declared below given schedules, and every year, the exam dates in the month shall differ as per the board. Every event will be held online, and candidates must follow the events and proceed as per the schedule.

Cochin University has authorized minimum CUSAT CAT 2024 eligibility criteria for candidates to fulfill and apply for the exam. The various factors that candidates need to meet as eligibility criteria are age limit, qualification, and Nationality.

Age Limit: For the UG program, candidates must be 17 years crossed, whereas the maximum age limit is 25 years, and for the PG program, there is no age limit to apply.

Nationality: For the B. Tech program, applicants must also be Indian citizens; applicants applying within the state quota must submit domicile documents. Foreign candidates need to share NRI documents for the rest of the programs.

Qualification: Aspirants must possess intermediate science background to apply for the UG program. Candidates with bachelor’s degrees from the relevant stream will be eligible for PG programs.

Aspirants seeking admissions to CUSAT need to appear for CUSAT CAT Exam. To participate in the exam, candidates must fill out the CUSAT CAT application form available on the official website that is online mode. By the 2nd week of March 2024, CUSAT CAT 2024 application form will be released. It is advised that candidates need to examine their eligibility and then proceed with the CUSAT CAT application process.

How to fill CUSAT CAT 2024 Application Form?

Step 1: CUSAT CAT 2024 Online Registration Process

Applicants on the official website must register by providing details such as the candidate's name, DOB, phone number, and email ID. A user ID and password will be generated and sent to provide the email ID's phone number.

Step 2: Fill up the form.

Fill the form with details like education qualification, nationality, DOB, category, address, and other details. Candidates need to fill the form carefully with valid information to avoid cancellation of the form.

Step 3: Upload Photograph and Signature

Applicants must upload scanned photos and their signatures in JPG/JPEG format with specified kb.

Step 4: CUSAT CAT 2024 application fee Payment

 To complete the process and submit the application form, applicants need to clear the application fee via online mode. Whether credit/debit or net banking, candidates shall make the payment while there is no other payment method.

CUSAT CAT 2024 exam pattern has been set by the Cochin University of Science and Technology. Every year in May, the exam takes place in the computer-based online mode. Aspirants need to know the exam pattern to get a fair idea about the number of questions, type of questions, marking scheme, and other details.

• Number of papers: 2 papers (paper 1 – mathematics, paper 2 – physics and chemistry)

The exam board generates the CUSAT CAT 2024 admit card for candidates whose application forms have been accepted. In May 2024, CUSAT CAT admits card will be issued online on the official website. Candidates need to download the same as it is essential to carry for the examination hall. Else candidates cannot write the exam.

Step to download CUSAT CAT 2024, Admit Card:

Step 1: Visit the official website of CUSAT CAT 2024

Step 2: Click “CUSAT 2024 Admit Card Download” to redirect to the student’s login page.

Step 3: Enter your registration number and date of birth, then press the “submit button.”

Step 4: Student's admit cards will appear on the screen

Step 5: Download and print 2 copies for further reference

CUSAT CAT 2024 results will be disclosed in June 2024, and students shall check them on the official site of CUSAT. After the results announcement, the rank list will be published based on the candidate’s performance or score at the entrance. The cut-off will be considered based on various factors such as the difficulty level of the exam, no. of candidates applied, and the number of vacant seats available.

How to download CUSAT CAT 2024 Score Card?

Step 1: Log in to the official website of CUSAT.

Step 2: Enter your roll number, DOB, and exam date, then submit

Step 3: CUSAT CAT 2024 result, course choice, and rank will be displayed on the screen

Step 4: Download the scorecard and save it for further use.

Soon after the merit list declaration, candidates will appear for the CUSAT CAT 2024 counseling process. Students need to select their preferred college and stream. Candidates shortlisted in this round will get seats according to their rank and college cut-off.

• Candidates on their own need to register at the counseling venue
• Qualified candidates will be allocated with college and stream of candidates' preferences based on rank in the merit list.
• At the time of counseling, candidates shall carry the original documents.
• The seat would be canceled if candidates failed to appear for the document verification at the allotted institute for the given date.

Cochin University of Science and Technology has established nearly 28 exam centres for conducting the CUSAT CAT examination. Out of 28 exam centres, 27 centres are placed in Indian and 1 in Dubai. Candidates will choose their CUSAT CAT 2024 exam centre as per their choice while filling the application form. Exam center, once selected, cannot be changed under any circumstances.
