Every year, the Karnataka Examination Authority (KEA) administers the Karnataka PGCET. It is also known as the Karnataka Post Graduate Common Entrance Test. The KPGCET Entrance Exam serves as the gateway exam for admission to PG degrees such as MBA, MCA, ME, and M.Tech. The Karnataka PGCET is an offline exam. It has up to 100 multiple-choice questions to be solved in 150 minutes. The Karnataka PGCET 2025 takes place in the first week of August 2025 . In the first week of June 2025, KEA will release the Karnataka PGCET 2025 application form. It is available on the PGCET official website, kea.kar.nic.in. Eligible applicants must complete the KPGCET 2025 registration before the second week of July 2025.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Eligibility Criteria: General Criteria

  • The applicant must be an Indian citizen.
  • For a reservation, candidates from their home state must be residents of Karnataka.
  • Students from other states may apply for the Karnataka PGCET. However, they are not eligible for any reservations.

  • Bachelor’s or an equivalent degree of at least three years.
  • Students must score at least 50% in all disciplines, including languages.
  • For SC, ST, and Category-I applicants in Karnataka, 45% of marks are necessary.

  • Qualifying marks of 45% are necessary for ST or SC, or OBC. The reservation only applies to Karnataka residents.

  • Students from the state of Karnataka must get a minimum of 50% in all semesters.
  • For ST, SC, or OBC, 45% of qualifying marks are necessary. Only Karnataka state students are eligible for reservations.

Karnataka PGCET 2025 Application Form: How to Fill Out

The KPGCET online application form is available at kea.kar.nic.in. The registration window will be open for around a month. The entire process is divided into two stages.

  • Fill out all of the necessary information in Phase 1. The information supplied here can be edited or deleted.

3. Scan and Upload Documents

  • Students must have scanned copies of their most recent coloured photograph, parent signature, and left thumb impression on file.
  • Upload the documents mentioned above in JPG/JPEG format.
  • Click the "save and continue" button.
  • Next, press the next button. The screen will display a declaration page of the KPGCET 2025 Application Form.

KEA has specified the size, format, and dimensions for each document. Failure to do so will result in the application being cancelled.

4. Accepting the Declaration and Submitting the Form

  • Students must examine the whole online form after filling out and submitting the form's contents.
  • Following that, a declaration box will appear.
  • Read over all the facts and click 'Agree' if you agree with the terms.

5. Pay the KPGCET Application Fee

  • Students must pick the bank challan and print it out to finish the payment.
  • As an application fee, general category candidates must pay Rs. 650. While reserved category candidates must pay Rs. 500,.
