VTUEEE - Vel Tech University Engineering Entrance Exam

Vel Tech University Engineering Entrance Exam (VTUEEE) is a Scholarship Eligibility Test that is conducted under the direction of Vel Tech Dr. RR & Dr. SR Technical University at the All India Level.

Scholarship recipients will be awarded the Mahatma Gandhi National Merit Scholarship. This scholarship that is offered by VTU will be applicable for all the four-year B. Tech programs that are offered by the University.

VTUEEE 2019 for the upcoming academic year is being conducted in two Phases.

VTUEEE Eligibility criteria

Candidates are required to fulfil the eligibility criteria given below:-

  • Candidates should have passed class XII or equivalent examination with Physics and Chemistry as compulsory subjects and Mathematics or Biology as optional subject.
  • Candidates pursuing their 12th in 2019 can also apply .
  • Candidates belonging to Jammu and Kashmir and The North Eastern states of Tripura, Sikkim, Nagaland, Manipur, Assam and Arunachal Pradesh will have to produce Nativity Certificates at the time of admission.

VTUEEE Application Form & fees

Application Form can also be downloaded from the website or obtained by post or manually from the University Office.
Application Form will be available online from the first week of October 2019 till third week of April 2019.

Candidates are required to enter valid mobile number and E-mail ID. Please remember, all the correspondence will be sent by SMS from LMVELTEC. 

VTUEEE Syllabus & Exam Pattern

Exam pattern:

  • The will be of objective type and it will be held in pen paper based format.
  • There will be 100 questions in the final examination.
  • 150 minutes or 2 hours and 30 minutes will be allotted to solve the examination.
  • There is no negative marking for the incorrect answers.
  • Each question carries 1 mark.
  • The questions will be in English only.
  • The exam has 3 subjects Physics & Chemistry -25 questions per each session , Mathematics -50 Questions.

VTUEEE Admit Card

  • Admit card will be available separately for both phases of the exam and  it will be uploaded only in the online mode.
  • Candidates can download their admit card by entering their application number and date of birth, the same which was entered by them during form filling process.
  • The examination rooms/halls will be opened 30 minutes before the commencement of the examination.

VTUEEE Results & Score Card

Examination results will be available at website: www.veltechuniv.edu.in for Phase-I on 15th Feb 2019 or as per the notification. For Phase-II on 4th May 2019 or as per the notification. There is no provision to send the marks of the candidates (selected or unselected) by post. At the time of publication of the results, the rank will be intimated through email if the email of the applicant is provided.

There is no provision for re-grading or re-totalling. No photocopies of the answer sheets will be made available. No correspondence in this regard will be entertained.

VTUEEE Counselling & Admission

Counselling will be conducted from the first week of May 2019 till the second week of May 2019. Counselling will be conducted into two phases - Phase 1 and Phase 2. Candidates have to carry the following list of documents at the counselling centre.

  • Hall Ticket/ Score Card/Call Letter
  • Class X or XII Board Certificate as a proof for date of birth
  • Marks Sheet of Qualifying Examination(class XII or Equivalent)

Candidates are required to select the Centres (PPT/ CBT) most convenient to them. While every effort will be made to allot the Centre opted by the candidate, the University reserves its discretion to allot a Centre other than that of candidate’s choice. Under any circumstances, the Centre once allotted, will not be changed by the University.Exam is conducted in 84 cities across India.
