PES University Aptitude Test [PESSAT]
PES University Bangalore one of the top universities in Karnataka conducts a university level entrance exam PES Scholastic Aptitude Test (PESSAT). The exam is conducted every year for PES University admission to courses at under graduate and post graduate level in several specialisations. For all the courses offered at the university PESSAT 2021 application form will be published in the month of October 2020 and exam will be conducted in the month of May 2021. Also the exam dates could change for different courses.
PESSAT 2021 exam will be conducted online mode that is computer based except for B.Des also PESSAT 2021 application form will be available only in the official website while the application fee can be paid online as well offline mode. PESSAT 2021 counselling will be held in two rounds via offline mode. Candidates shall choose exam centre across India in different states nearly in 39 cities the exams will be organised.

PESSAT 2021 Eligibility criteria
Candidates applying for PESSAT must ensure that they fulfil the eligibility put up by the university. Based on the course chosen the eligibility criteria differ. Before filling the application form go through the details regarding PESSAT 2021 eligibility criteria.
- Nationality: To apply for PESSAT for any course only Indian citizens are eligible
- Qualification: For any under graduation course candidates must be intermediate passed while to apply for Masters Candidates need to hold bachelor’s degree from relevant stream.
- Minimum Aggregate: Aspirants willing to apply need to have secured minimum 60% aggregate in the qualifying examination.
- Test Score: For B.Tech admissions candidates must have cleared PESSAT or KCET or related entrance test and for M.Tech candidates must be PGCET/PESSAT/GATE qualified.
- Recognised Board: To apply for PES University aspirants must be from ICSE, CBSE, State, IGCSE and IB if candidates are from other board need to seek permission in prior before seeking admissions.

PESSAT 2021 Application Form & fees
PESSAT 2021 application from will be available in the official website every year it is expected to be released in the month of October to apply for any course. In the online mode candidates shall fill the form. The end date of application form will differ for every course and candidates must be aware of last date to apply for PESSAT. Also applicants must be eligible enough and correct details has to be filled else during the verification process if any errors found then the application form will be rejected.
Steps to fill PESSAT Application Form:
Step 1: Visit the official website of PESSAT then click on “Apply now” further various details has to be filled properly and click on “proceed” link.
Step 2: Fill the general details that include parent details, place of birth, nationality, address, religion etc.
Step 3: Complete the form by filling the qualification details later choose the exam centre and tick the declare box if all the information provided are correct.
Step 4: In the next step upload photographs by entering registration number, DOB and gender.
Step 5: Final step will be PESSAT application fee payment candidates either through online or offline mode that is debit/credit/net banking or via DD/challan can clear the fee. PESSAT application fee is INR 1050.
Step 6: For future reference take a print out of PESSAT fee challan and now can book slot for the exam according to their preference.
PESSAT 2021 Syllabus & Exam Pattern
PESSAT 2021 exam pattern is different for different courses and exam will be conducted only in the online mode while only for B.Des PESSAT exam will be conducted in offline mode that is pen and paper based.
- Exam Mode: PESSAT exam will be organised in online mode
- Duration: For B.Tech exam duration is 3 hours and for other courses exam duration is 2 years.
- Type of questions: Multiple choice questions (MCQs)
- No. of questions: For B.Tech there will be 180 questions and for other courses it is 120 questions.
- Marking Scheme: For every correct answer 1 mark will be awarded and for every incorrect answer there is no negative marks

To score well in the exam it is necessary for candidates to know PESSAT 2021 syllabus there is no different syllabus for the exam. For B.Tech course PESSAT syllabus will be of class 11 and 12th that comprises of physics, chemistry and mathematics. For other courses questions will be based on English comprehensive/verbal ability, analytical & logical reasoning, quantitative reasoning and general awareness.
PESSAT 2021 Admit Card
Once the application form is successfully submitted, in the month of April PESSAT 2021 slot booking would start for B.Tech while for other courses in the month of January. In the online mode PASSAT slot booking will be done. During slot booking candidates can book the date and time of exam according to their convenience.
- On basis of first-cum-first-serve the slot booking will be done and once the booking is done no changes can be made.
- Only after the completion of slot booking candidates shall be able to download their PESSAT 2021 admit card.
- Before two days of exam PESSAT admit card will have to be downloaded and it is mandatory to carry the admit card for examination along with ID proof.
How to download PESSAT 2021 Admit Card:
Step 1: Go to official site of the university, click on admissions then select PESSAT exam
Step 2: Click on “PESSAT Slot Booking”
Step 3: Enter registration number and DOB then “submit”
Step 4: A new form will be displayed where candidates need to select course, city, date and time then submit
Step 5: Click on “Confirm” further save and take a printout
PESSAT 2021 Results & Score Card
PESSAT 2021 results will be announced and declared in the PES University official website and after one of week exams the results will be announced that is usually in the last week of May. Based on candidates result merit list shall be prepared and those candidates will be called for PESSAT counselling. Finally based on score and personal interview candidates will be shortlisted.
Steps to download PESSAT 2021 Results:
Step 1: Visit official site of PES University click on “PESSAT Result” link
Step 2: Enter registration number and select date, month and DOB
Step 3: Check for the information mentioned is correct consisting of candidates name, roll number, category, rank and secured marks.
Step 4: PESSAT results will be displayed, download the result and take a print out.
To qualify and seek PES University admissions candidates need to meet the eligibility in the entrance exam. PESSAT cut-off will be put up where candidates need to score minimum marks in the exam to qualify. Soon after the declaration of results cut off marks will be released by the university and PESSAT cut-off marks depend on various factors and parameters such as difficulty level of the examination, total number of candidates appeared for the examination and the availability of seats.
PESSAT 2021 Counselling & Admission
PESSAT 2021 counselling process starts after the declaration of results. It is mandatory for all the candidates qualified in the exam to participate in the counselling sessions. Two rounds of counselling sessions will be held via offline mode.
- PESSAT counselling will be held in 3 steps those are first round of counselling, submission of documents and second round of counselling.
- Candidates qualified by scoring the exam cut-off and whose names displayed in the first round counselling list have to appear for first round counselling.
- Selected candidates name announced in the first round counselling need to fill an application form with respect to secured marks other details.
- In the website of through Email ID candidates will be updated with counselling process.
- By any chance if candidates fail to appear for the process of counselling then the respective seat will be passed to the next eligible candidate.
- For counselling/interview round it is advised to carry original and photocopied documents.
