Tentatively the PU CET 2024 Application Form will be made live and accessible from the Last week of December 2023 as announced by the Punjab University, Chandigarh committee and the last due date for the submission of application form with fee will be in the third week of May 2024. Step 1: Registration

Step 3: Uploading Documents/ Photographs

Step 4: Payment of Fees                                                                               

PU CET application fees have to be paid through online mode by using debit card/ credit card or net banking. The application fee for PU CET 2024 is INR 2100/- for general category and 1050/- for reserved category which is once transacted becomes re-fundable. Payment link for PU CET 2024 application fees will be live only after the form has been submitted, and the students can continue to pay the fees.

Step 5: Confirmation of PU CET (MCA) 2024 Application

After the transaction of PU CET application fee is done, students will get an online receipt to the contact details given by the student which shows the completion of registration process.

Students will also get a mail on their registered email ID where the students will get a document format file of the complete Application Form PU CET 2024 attached and then they can access their registered accounts and hard copy of the application form.

While preparing to attend PU CET 2024 competitive entrance exam the students must be aware if there are any changes in the exam Pattern which will help them to understand details like the mode of examination, evaluating criteria, priority sections to concentrate on, if there is any negative marking, type of questions, total number of questions and sections, duration of exam etc. and helps them to have better focus on the entrance test.

PU CET 2024 is a 70 minutes of exam which is accessible in via offline (pen & paper) mode exam for joining for various degree courses here in University level. PU CET 2024 admit card/ hall ticket will be issued to the applicants who have registered themselves for the PU CET exam and have paid the application fees along with it by fourth week of May 2024. The admit cards will be published and announced on the official website of the conducting authority and the dates will be informed later on the official website. The admit card will be emailed to the applicants mail ID or they can download it from the official website.

The student must log in to PU CET website and click on the ‘Admit card’ link and enter their login details and download the admit card/ hall ticket. Students must carefully go through the information printed on the admit card such as the name of the applicant, exam date, venue, time and contact details. Students must add a valid photo ID proof issued by the Government of India to the exam center. They must pin in a recent passport size photograph on the hall ticket as they uploaded in the PU CET application form. Carrying hall ticket is a mandatory rule for all the selected students at the examination center, if not the student will be restricted from taking up the examination without the admit card along with any of the considerable ID proof.

In addition to PU CET 2024 admit card/ hall ticket the candidate shall also carry one more valid Photo Id proof to prove their identity such as:

The results of PU CET 2024 will be announced in both phases of the exam on the official website. If the candidates have taken the PU CET examination, candidates can look up their results. After the declaration of the result, they can also obtain ranks through the mail.

Applicants can verify their results by using the exam application number and login credentials. The result can be downloaded by candidates. The result as well as the merit list will be released on the official website. The PU CET merit list can be viewed using the login credentials.

PU CET 2024 results and merit list includes details such as student’s name, student’s PU CET registration number, roll number of the applicant, category-wise scores along with overall scores. The result and shortlisting of students is given along with rank/ merit list on the official website as per the mentioned tentative dates. The marks secured in PU CET 2024 will be valid for the academic year from 2024-23.

PU CET 2024 margin will be announced on the based on the student’s performance in the entrance test and their results that will get released via online on the official website of the University. Margin percentage is differs on various reasons and it is mandatory for applicants to outreach the margin criteria to qualify the examination & to further participation in various processes.

Students who clear the PU CET 2024 exam and match the cutoff margin announced by the Institute will later be called for the final round of selection. The cutoff might vary for different campus of Punjab University, Chandigarh and the specialization depending upon different criteria.

PU CET 2024 will have Cut-Off standard score that the students will have to secure in order to qualify for the examination. Cut-off will be announced by the University, which is a deemed University and the applicants should carefully evaluate all these standards and then appear for the entrance exam for their interested stream in that University.

All the eligible applicants will need to access their counseling letter, which will have a timetable and process for counseling participation. Students have to enroll themselves and choose their desired courses during the counseling process. Later the allocation of seats will be made in accordance with the student’s merit and choice. For each round, counseling process for PU CET 2024 will be done separately and the applicants will be asked to verify their admission after the allocation of seats.
