PSG Institute of Management came into existence in 1971. Initially, it was formed as the Department of Management Sciences under PSG College of Technology. Later in 1994, it was established as a full-fledged management college. The 50+ years of legacy makes PSGIM one of the pioneering management institutes in South India. PSGIM is the first Indian college to receive Platinum Ranking International Certificate by MAC International Educational Standards, Singapore. NBA and AICTE accredit all the PSG Institute of Management Courses at the National level. PSGIM is also a founder member of ABBS. (Association of BRICS Business Schools). Several external agencies have consistently ranked PSGIM among the Top 40 Business School in India for more than a decade.

PSGIM offers MBA (General), MBA in Waste Management, and Social Entrepreneurship. (WM SE) In addition, it offers a Ph.D. in Management Stream. ACBSP and NBA accredit PSG MBA Courses. PSG Admissions for MBA is based on TANCET, ATMA, CAT, or MAT. Further rounds of assessments will include Group Discussion (GD) and Personal Interviews (PI). The PSG MBA admission weightage will be given to candidates with work experience. PSGIM collaborates with IIFT, Hof University, Germany, to offer students exchange programs.

PSG Institute of Management Fees structure

If a student wants to pursue 2 years in PSG for MBA, then the fee for the 2- year program will be 10,00,000 INR. If the students opt to study for one year at PSGIM and the 2^nd year at the University of Toledo, then the entire fee structure for the course comes up to 15,00,000 INR (excluding the living expenses).

PSG Institute of Management Courses Admission

Students willing to apply for an MBA in PSG Institute of Management must have completed their graduation with a minimum of 50% aggregate marks. Students must have given any of the exams- CAT/ MAT/ATMA/ TANCET.

• Students applying for PSG MBA admission through TANCET scores will have 50% of reservations in seats. The seat allotment process for MBA will be done through counseling conducted by Tamil Nadu Government.
• The remaining 50% of seats are reserved for CAT, MAT, and ATMA Qualifiers. However, to be eligible for admission, students must score equivalent to the PSGIM MBA Cut off criteria.
• Students applying based on CAT, MAT, or ATMA can directly fill out the PSG MBA Online application available on the official website.
• Student needs to fill out the PSG MBA application form by paying an application fee of 1000 INR through demand draft or net banking.
• Applicants must submit the form within the stipulated PSG MBA Application Last Date.
• Once the PSG Institute of management application form is successfully submitted, shortlisted students will be informed about further rounds, including Group discussions and Personal Interviews.
• The final merit list will soon be released after completing GD and PI.
