National Law School of India University Bangalore came into presence through a Notification under the National Law School of India Act (Karnataka Act 22 of 1986). It indicated the culmination of efforts by the Judiciary, the Bar Council of India, the Karnataka Bar Council and Bangalore University to reform legal education and establish a centre of excellence for legal education and research in India. Currently, NLSIU Bangalore provides BA LLB at the UG level and LLM, MPP, MBL, and PG Diploma at the PG level. The institution additionally provides M.Phil. and PhD degrees at the level of research. NLSIU Bangalore Courses Admission

To apply for the specified programme, students must take the CLAT exam (Common Law Admission Test). The results of the CLAT exam will be the only factor considered in the selection process. Students wishing to enrol in one of India's several National Law Colleges must take the CLAT law entrance examination.

LLM from NLSIU Bangalore

• Passed the Upper Secondary School Test (10+2) or an exam of equivalent standing on the first attempt with a minimum aggregate score of 50% (45% for SC/ST candidates and people with disabilities).

Students at the NLSIU have excellent placement possibilities. Students can use campus placement services provided by the University at well-known, top-tier businesses with competitive salaries. NLSIU Bangalore's average package stood at INR 12 LPA for UG, and the PG course is INR 6 LPA.

NLSIU's career services team helps students find internships and post-graduation opportunities that will lead to long-term careers. They also assist students with resume writing and interview prep.

During  Placements 2020, the highest package stood at  INR 18 LPA. The participating law firms offered salaries between INR 15 to 18 LPA. On the other hand, the lowest average package stood at INR 12 LPA.

A total of 53 students were placed. In addition, 23 Pre-placement offers were made during the placement drive. As a result, the recruiters offered 44 job offers to the students of the passing-out batch 2020.
