East West Institute of Technology

The East-West Institute of Technology was founded in 2001 and had an extensive environment of 20 acres of land, surrounded by a pleasant environment. The main task is to promote technological innovation and implement an ethical, social responsibility that makes students the best citizens.

 EWIT offers comfortable and decent accommodation on campus for boys and girls. The administration of an institute is responsible for the hostel's daily work. The guard manages the shelter and handles any problems during regular operation. The technically trained and experienced staff are responsible for maintaining the protection. For all students in the hostel, who come from different country levels and have different tastes, the menu is planned as a mix of food from North India and South India with daily variety. Institute is about 12Km from the Bangalore Railway.

East-West Institute of Technology Course details:

Institute offers UG course, Bachelor of Engineering in Electronics and Communication Engineering, Electrical and Electronics Engineering, Computer Science and Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Information Science and Engineering and Civil Engineering with 4 years. The minimum eligibility criteria are that the student must have passed the 10+2 examination in the relevant stream with valid aggregate marks. Selection will be based on the score secured in KCET/COMEDK UGET or through the management exam.PG courses are offered, such as M.E in Structural Engineering, Computer network Engineering, Digital Electronics, CSE, Thermal power Engineering, Machine Design, Geotechnical engineering, MBA and MCA course. A minimum criterion is a bachelor's degree from a recognized board with a valid score. Selection for the M.E course is based on the score obtained in KPGCET/GATE, MBA is based on KMAT/KPGCET, and the MCA selection process is based on KPGCET score through management. Doctoral course (Ph.D.in Engineering and Management stream).  For the Ph.D. course, an applicant must fill the application form online in the VTU portal.

BE in EWIT

EWIT offers B.Tech in 6 specializations for a duration of 4 years divided into 8 semesters. The minimum eligibility is required to apply for B.Tech is that candidates should be 10+2 passed, not less than 45% marks. Selection of the candidates for the course will be through COMEDK/KCET/management test. Candidates willing to take seats through management quota need to have minimum aggregate also should have been appeared for management test through the same EWIT admissions to B.Tech will be granted. So, 45% of total seats will be filled through KEA counseling, 30% of the chairs through COMEDK counseling, and the remaining will be given for management quota students through separate management entrance tests.

M.Tech in EWIT

Under M.Tech, there are 7 disciplines offered by EWIT. The program's duration will be up to 2 years for candidates after they complete graduation that as B.Tech from the relevant stream would be able to apply for the course. Based on the PGCET/GATE/management test, EWIT admission to M.Tech will be granted. GATE/PGCET students will undergo counseling, and those candidates willing to take admission through management quota will appear for management test based on that seats will be allotted. So, 80% of the complete seats will be through GATE/PGCET admissions, while the remaining 20% of the total seats will be filled under the management quota.

MBA and MCA in EWIT

EWIT offer ers MBA for 2 years, while the MCA program is offered for 3 edition. Candidates should hold a bachelor’s degree despite any stream to apply for M, BA but then to apply for MCA candidates need be graduated keeping mathematics as the main subject. Through PGCET/management test, MCA admission to EWIT can be taken, and PGCET/KMAT is accepted for MBA admissions to EWIT. And for management quota students, there is a management test to be qualified to get seats for the same. For all PG courses, it is the same that 80% of the whole seats will be given for national/state level entrance exam admissions, and the remaining 20% will be done through management seats.

Ph.D. in EWIT

EWIT offers a research program with several specializations offered, and candidates will be selected and given EWIT admission to Ph.D. as per the norms of VTU. So, every candidate would appear for the VTU eligibility test, followed by the college conducted a personal interview. Less than 55-60% aggregate is not accepted as minimum eligibility. The specializations include Chemistry, Civil Engineering, Computer Science & Engineering, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Master of Business Administration, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, and Physics. Candidates could apply and seek admissions for any offered specializations but then minimum eligibility.

East-West Institute of Technology Fee Structure

East-West Institute of Technology fee structure will be put up as per the student’s college admissions. KCET, COMEDK UGET, PGCET, or VTU entrance exam or other entrance exam admissions also differs management quota fee is different from all of these which would be relatively higher than usual price. Given the fee structure of EWIT will be the general fee of all the courses estimated approximately, so based on the candidate's marks and score, the admissions will be considered. Based on that, a fee structure would be put up. The fee of the courses would not differ for the specializations chosen. The course's complete cost could also be divided and settled in installments.

East-West Institute of Technology Admissions

BE: EWIT admissions to BE will be made through UGET/KCET with not less than 45% aggregate in PCM/PCB, and for reserved category-based students, there is a 5% relaxation in their 12th exemption aggregate.

MBA: Any bachelor’s degree will be accepted, but a minimum of 50% marks is required; therefore, PGCET or other entrance exams based through counseling MBA admissions to EWIT will be granted.

M.Tech: In the relevant discipline B.Tech with at least 50% marks is necessary as eligibility criteria followed by PGCET score or GATE score M.Tech admissions to EWIT will be offered.

MCA: PGCET is accepted for MCA admissions in EWIT, so candidates who graduated from BCA or relevant stream where less than 50% aggregate is not acceptable considering the overall performance seats will be granted.

Ph.D.: To apply for a Ph.D. master’s degree with not less than 60% marks is required from a recognized university along with minimum work experience as per the VTU entrance exam based, Ph.D. admission to EWIT will be provided.

• On-campus EWIT hostel facility is provided for students with hygienic and well-furnished infrastructure separately for girls and boys. The menu has got north-Indian and south-Indian food for students accommodating from different country states.
• EWIT is a home for students keen to learn and research. Its collections of books stocked are 39,268 volumes, 85 national and international journals, 10,812 titles, 800 DVDs, and 1057 project reports.
• EWIT spots department offers indoor and outdoor sports for students to be fit, healthy, and active. Intercollege, inter-zone annual sports meet, are held, and students are trained to participate.
