Dayananda Sagar College of Engineering is a college that is part of the Mahatma Gandhi Vidya Peetha Trust. It is approved by the AICTE and is affiliated with VTU. The college offers a diversity of engineering courses. There are also 20 Research Centers in different engineering fields where students can pursue a Ph.D. at VTU. The NBA accredits some of the Dayananda Sagar College engineering courses. The college campus is spread across 23 acres and has modern infrastructure, including well-equipped laboratories.

• Applicants must pass admission exams administered by the Karnataka government, such as the CET or COMMED-K.

Dayananda Sagar College has a longstanding collaboration with numerous companies, spanning over three decades, to facilitate student internships and placements. Each year, we welcome over 100 companies for campus placements. We have established Memorandums of Understanding (MOUs) with more than 30 companies, supporting students in various aspects such as projects, internships, industrial visits, research, and placements. Our consistent efforts have resulted in record placements year after year. In the 2023 Placement drive, 1426 students got placed. However, the 2024 Placement drive is ongoing.
