Bangalore Institute of Technology is one of India's most popular engineering colleges. It was established in 1979 under the aegis of Rajya Vokkaligara Sangha, Bengaluru. It is one of the best engineering colleges in Bangalore and is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. The campus is situated in the heart of India's Silicon Valley and provides a perfect environment for learning and growth. NAAC is accredited, and AICTE has approved the college. The college offers undergraduate and postgraduate engineering, Science, and humanities programs. BIT Bangalore Courses include BE/B Tech, MBA, MCA, and M Tech. All the Engineering Programs hold an NBA Accreditation.
BIT Admission Criteria are based on entrance test results and academic merit. Students who wish to enroll in B Tech must appear for the KCET Examination conducted by KEA and then participate in the KCET Counselling Rounds. BIT College's code for KCET is E008. Students who desire admission under the KCET Quota must score according to the Bangalore Institute of Technology cutoff criteria. Non-Karnataka Students have a provision to apply based on COMEDK and JEE Main scores.
13 different disciplines are available under B Tech. The flagship stream is Computer Science and Engineering. The BIT Bangalore CSE cutoff is 5182. The BIT Bangalore Admission Process for MBA depends on KPGCET/KMAT Scores. Further, it accepts valid scores of national-level aptitude tests. KPGCET scores determine admission to the MCA or M Tech Programs. In case a student's entrance test rank is not identical to the cutoff eligibility, they can opt for BIT Bangalore Direct admission.
BIT Bangalore's Fee Structure for BE is INR 11.44 Lakhs in Total. Studying for an MBA will cost up to 1.16 Lakhs for two years. The M Tech tuition fee is INR 1.51 Lakhs. In contrast, the MCA fee is INR 1.28 Lakhs for two years.

The BIT Bangalore B.Tech admission will be determined both based on KCET and COMEDK entrance exam scores. Still, however, more weightage and seats have been reserved for KCET candidates only compared to COMEDK candidates. The BIT Bangalore B.Tech cutoff for KCET will differ from one branch to another, whereas there is more demand for computer science engineering. Hence, the CSE B.Tech cutoff is around 1521 (tentative) for general category candidates.
