TNEA Examination Fee

The TNEA 2024 application process begins in May 2024. First, students need to complete the TNEA 2024 Online registration, fill in the form, preview it, pay the application fee, and generate the final report. The final report confirms that the form has been submitted successfully, and students should print it. After registering, students will get a random number, and the authority will send it to them through SMS. Students can also check their random numbers by logging into their accounts.

Documents Required For Application Form

Before students begin registering for TNEA 2024, make sure you have the following documents or information ready:

  • Student's registered mobile number.
  • Student's registered email ID.
  • Student's Class 10 mark sheet.
  • Student's class 12 Hall ticket /class 12 Mark sheet.
  • Details of the school where the student has studied classes VIII, IX, X, XI, and XII.
  • Information about students' community/caste.
  • Students' Aadhar Card or any other valid identity proof.
  • Students' EMIS number.
  • Details of students' parent's annual income.
  • Nativity e-Certificate (if digitally signed).
  • Information regarding students' credit card or debit card or net banking or demand draft for paying the registration fee.

Steps To Fill Out The TNEA Application Form

To fill out the TNEA registration form 2024, students need to follow a step-by-step process. First, they must register themselves. After registering, they will receive login credentials, which they must use to log in. Then, students need to pay the prescribed fee and upload the required documents. Once all these steps are completed, students can download a hard copy of the submitted TNEA 2024 application form for their records.

  1. TNEA 2024 registration

Students need to go to the registration page and fill in important details. That includes entering their name and email ID, generating a password, specifying their nationality, nativity, religion, and community, indicating whether they have studied from 8th to 12th standard in Tamil Nadu, providing their date of birth, mobile number, gender, qualifying number, month of passing, and year of passing.

An OTP will be sent to the student's mobile number. After entering the OTP and checking the details, students must press the 'register' button. Once registered, students will receive their user ID on their registered mobile number.

Note:

  • The name should be entered as it appears on the class 10th/12th mark sheet.
  • Students need to use their email address for 'User ID.' If they don't have an email address, they can create one or use their parents' email.
  • The entered mobile number will be treated as the registered mobile number.
  • The password must have at least 8 characters, including at least one capital letter, one numerical digit, and one special character.
  • Details entered here cannot be changed later, so students should be careful and accurate.
  • Students must remember their User ID (email address) and password, as these will be used throughout the application, payment, choice entry, and allotment process.
  1. Logging In

Once students get their user ID and password, they need to use these to log in and enter details into the application form.

  1. Completing the Online Application Form

In the online application form, students need to provide the following information:

  • Personal details
  • Special reservation information
  • Scholarship information
  • School of Study Information
  • Academic Information

At the time of submission, the application form must include the following documents:

  • Mark-sheet of the 10+2 level
  • Transfer Certificate
  • Result of class 10
  • Admit Card for the class 12 level
  • Caste Certificate (if applicable)
  • Nativity e-Certificate (digitally signed, if available)
  • Optional: First Graduate Certificate/First Graduate Joint Declaration
  • Optional: Sri Lankan Tamil Refugee Certificate
  • Original Space Reservation Form with DD

4. Previewing and Submitting the Application

Students will see a preview of the filled application form. After checking for any mistakes, they must submit it.

  1. Paying the TNEA Application Fee

In this step, students need to pay the application fees online. They can use debit, net banking, or credit cards for payment.

  • General category: Rs. 500
  • SC/ST/SCA category: Rs. 250
  1. Printing the TNEA 2024 Application Form

After providing academic details, students should print out the application form for the admission process. They must keep the printout safe until the admission process is complete.
