National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test for Post Graduate is been conducted by National Board of Examinations (NBE). NBE conducts entry and exit examinations at Postgraduate, Post-Doctoral level and licensing examinations as Screening Test for Indian Nationals with Foreign Medical Qualifications

The National Board of Examination has been notified by Ministry of Health and Family Welfare, Government of India to conduct a competitive entrance examination on All-India Basis for admission to All India 50% quota MD/MS/Diploma Seats (except for colleges located in Jammu & Kashmir and Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh).

NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam Eligibility criteria

The NEET PG Eligibility Criteria are mentioned below:

  • The candidate must be an Indian Citizen
  • Candidate who holds M.B.B.S. degree from a recognized medical college or a foreign medical degree included in the Schedules to the Indian Medical Council Act, 1956 and who has obtained full registration either from the Medical Council of India or any of the State Medical Councils after completing compulsory rotating internship shall be eligible to take this examination
  • Candidates who have studied/passed MBBS from the state of Jammu & Kashmir and Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh are not eligible for 50% All India Quota.
  • Candidates who were nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges in Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir shall be eligible to apply for admission.
  • Such candidates must submit a duly signed affidavit declaring that he/she was nominated by the Government of India (under central pool seats) to do MBBS from Medical Colleges in Erstwhile Andhra Pradesh and Jammu & Kashmir to the Deputy Director(Examinations) National Board of Examinations, Medical Enclave, Ansari Nagar, Mahatma Gandhi Marg, (Ring Road), New Delhi-110029 along with the print out of the acknowledgement of the online submission application for AIPGMEE 2019 latest by  November 2018. (copy of the affidavit is annexed at Annexure-A).
  • The candidates who have obtained MBBS degree from the Medical Colleges which are not recognized by Medical Council of India shall not be eligible for this exam.
  • Candidate after passing the final qualifying examination (MBBS or the foreign medical degree recognized by MCI), is undergoing 12-month compulsory rotating internship/practical training and is likely to complete the same 1st by 31 March, 2019 can take up this examination, but he/she shall not be eligible for admission unless he/she has completed the compulsory rotating internship and obtained full registration on or before 31 March, 2019 or the candidate produces a certificate from the head of Institution that he/she will be completing internship by 31 March, 2019.
  • The dates indicated by candidates with regard to 12 months Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship i.e. starting date, completion date in the online application system shall be treated as final and candidates will be required to submit the original Compulsory Rotating Resident Internship completion certificate at the time of admission in allotted College
  • The cut off dates for the recognition of the Medical Colleges from where the candidates have passed their MBBS Degree Course and completed compulsory rotatory Internship for the year 2018 will be 31st October, 2018. The Colleges recognized after this date will not  be considered.
  • Registration with M.C.I./State Medical Council is necessary and its documentary proof should be furnished at the time of counselling and admission in allotted College.
  • Some of the Universities are having regulations that candidates who are already pursuing the PG Course in their University or in another University are not eligible for admission till they complete the course.
  • The candidates who are already pursuing PG Courses either through All India Quota or State Quota and are applying for a seat under All India Quota may confirm the eligibility conditions of that University in this regard. MoHFW/Dte. Gen.
  • Health Services shall not be responsible if such candidates are refused for admission. Such candidates may opt for the subject and the college at their own risk and cost.
  • A candidate can register and appear for AIPGMEE -2019 only once for admission to the academic year 2019-2021.

NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam Application Form & fees

NEET PG Application Form for 2019 can be filled through online process only.Online registration will start by 3rd week of September 2018 till last week of October 2018.In the time of form filling, candidates may select the test centre, date and time for the examination.

Application Fee:-
•    Rs.2750/- (For SC/ST/PWD (PH) candidates)
•    Rs.3750/- (For General/OBC candidates) 

Candidate can submit the fee through online payment gateway (Credit Card/Debit Card/Net Banking). The fee is non-refundable at any chance.

NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam Syllabus & Exam Pattern

  • The examination shall be a multiple choice questions exam on computer based platform (CBT).
  • The exam comprises of 300 Multiple Choices, single correct response questions in English language only.
  • The Time allotted is 3hr. 30 min.
  • The weightage of MCQs in each specialty is indicative and purely provisional. NBE reserves its right to alter/vary/amend the same.
  • There shall be no negative marking.

Syllabus of he entrance exam may consist of all subjects studied during the MBBS and BDS programmes and may consist of subject’s areas as per the Graduate Medical Education Regulations issued by MCI with prior approval of the Government of India.

NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam Admit Card

Candidates must bring their Admit Card with them to the test centre and a photocopy of the MCI/SMC registration to the test centre. This would be retained at the test centre.

NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam Results & Score Card

NEET PG Result 2019 will be declared by 15h January 2019, candidates can check their results through online mode. 

There will be no provision for re-checking/re-totalling/re-evaluation of the answer sheets.
Validity of the result of NEET-PG 2019 shall be only for the current admission session i.e. 2019 admission session for MD/MS/PG Diploma courses and cannot be carried forward for the next session.

The overall merit position of the candidate in the category (OBC/SC/ST) as opted by the candidate in the NEET –PG 2019 for All India 50% quota and is valid only for All India 50% quota MD/MS/Post Graduate Diploma Courses 2019 admission session only.

State quota/ Private medical colleges/Deemed University/AFMS rank:

 
State quota rank, state category rank, benefit for In-service candidates, rural posting(if applicable) etc shall be determined/generated by the designated agency/authority of the concerned States/university/concerned authority as per applicable Regulation and/or their eligibility criteria, guidelines and applicable reservation policies.

NEET PG Medical Entrance Exam Counselling & Admission

Candidates will be called for the counselling procedure on the basis of the merit list. The NEET PG counselling 2019 will be organised by the Medical Counselling Committee for All India 50% quota seats. There will be no counselling fee to be paid for the participation in the counselling process.
