Telangana State Integrated Common Entrance Test (TSICET) is a state-level entrance examination for engineering professional courses for PG admission conducted by Kakatiya University on behalf of Telangana State Council of Higher Education (TSCHE). The admission possibilities for candidates taking up TSICET 2021 are for both Degree and postgraduate level of engineering course with their specializations in the specified stream of courses.  TSICET is an all State exam that will be conducted once a year.

TSICET is a Common Entrance Exam conducted for around 169+ AICTE-approved University-affiliated engineering and technological Institutes in Telangana and other state places like Visakhapatnam, Kakinada, and Vijayawada, etc. This applies to all candidates from all parts of India who meet the eligibility criteria can appear for this test across the country. The accessible process for TSICET is easy and affordable with sharing exam scores with selected engineering institutes of his/ her choice.

The TSICET 2021 exam will be conducted in online mode for PG engineering Programs, usually conducted in July. Later once the results are out, the concerned authority will help get into the desired B-school in Telangana.

TSICET 2021 Eligibility criteria

Students preparing to appear for TSICET 2021 should be aware of the conducting authorities responsible for taking important considerations in their eligibility criteria. Understanding the prescribed criteria will help the aspiring candidates to know if they are well qualified or have the capacity to appear for the exam before filling the online application form. The students should realize that once the committee decides that the aspirant doesn’t fit into the criteria, the application will be considered disqualified at any admission stage. 

Eligibility criteria:

The students should be citizens of India to be eligible to apply for this entrance test, and they should submit their residence certificate as proof. They should also submit their age certificate and their previous education details.

  • MBA: Students must be qualified for a 3-year bachelor’s degree from any recognized board or university with at least 50% aggregate in the given stream.
  • MCA: Students must qualify for a recognized bachelor’s degree to be qualified for the examination. Students should have a compulsory subject as Mathematics in the 12th level examination for the MCA program. The general category's qualified percentage is must minimum of 50% marks and 45% aggregate for reserved category candidates.

TSICET 2021 Application Form & fees

The TSICET aspirant students will have to follow few steps before applying for TSICET 2021. The application/ registration process for TSICET 2021 involves a set of the following stages: Registration, TSICET Password, getting Enrolment ID, Filling the Application, and Uploading scanned Photographs and other required Documents, Online paying of fees, etc.

The TSICET 2021 Application Form will be made live and accessible in the first week of March 2021 as said by the authority, and the last due date for the submission of the application form with fee along with late fees is in the third week of May 2021. The application form will be released from the first week of March 2021, and candidates should make sure that they are registered on time for taking up the entrance test.

  • For TSICET 2021, the last date tentatively announced for application submission with a fine is till the third week of May 2021.
  • The first step for the applicants is to register themselves on the official website so that they will receive an individual ID and password, which he/she can change later according to their wish. These details have to be managed carefully and used further while filling the application and later receiving its confirmation.
  • After the registration, all the details need to be filled in, and then the candidate must upload a scanned image of the photograph & signature in the prescribed digital format. They should be careful about the file's size because many times, the website won’t accept huge sized files.
  • The applicant must provide a valid/ working email ID & contact details in the application form. If not, the application will not be accepted
  • The candidates don't need to send any hard copy of the application form for further use, but it is suggested to have a soft copy for future reference.
  • Lastly, the applicant has to pay application fees, and that can be done online by credit card, debit card, or net banking. The application fees will be INR  600/- for the general category and INR 450/- for applicants' reserved category.
  • Later, the application needs to be reviewed, and changes need to be made if any to be done, and once the candidate clicks on the ‘Confirm and Final Submit’ button, there won’t be any chances to make any changes.
  • All applicants are advised to check their given information for any mistakes thoroughly.
  • Finally, Click on “Confirm and Submit.”

TSICET 2021 Syllabus & Exam Pattern

While preparing to appear for TSICET 2021 entrance exam, the students must be aware of the updated Exam Pattern. This will help them know about the details like the mode of examination, marking standard, major sections of the paper to concentrate on, any negative marking, question paper format, the total number of questions and sections, duration of exam, etc. This will help the students to have better guidance for the entrance test.

TSICET 2021 is a 2 ½ hour online exam for the PG course where candidates will have to attend 200 questions carrying 200 marks, and the allocation of marks for each question is 1 mark. The question paper has 3 sections: analytical ability, Mathematical Ability, and Communication ability. This entrance test follows the MCQ format, and there is no negative marking for this exam.

TSICET 2021 Admit Card

The TSICET 2021 Admit card/ hall ticket includes all exam-related details and candidate details like the name of the applicant, exam date, timings, registration number of the student, exam center details, and all the important instructions about the entrance exam. The candidate should verify all the details before downloading the TSICET 2021 hall ticket.

TSICET 2021 Admit Card will be released via online mode, which will happen on the first week of May 2021. Students will be able to download the hall ticket by entering their registration ID and date of Birth

Hall Ticket is included with all the details like exam center details, date & time, exam calendar & some important exam instructions. All applied candidates must carry their admit card to the examination center. If not, the candidate will not be allowed to sit for the examination without the hall ticket along with anyone with considerable ID proof.

TSICET 2021 Results & Score Card

TSICET Result will be made available via online mode and released in the third week of June 2021. The Kakatiya University will prepare this scorecard or merit list based on marks scored by the entrance exam candidate.

To check the result, the applicant will have to use their user ID & password from the registration. The institutes will prepare their merit list for PG courses. Applicants who are qualified for the examination will appear in the private University counseling rounds.

TSICET 2021 Counselling & Admission

The counseling process for TSICET 2021 is carried out once the results have been declared. The candidates shall apply for counseling, and for that, the candidates will have to pay a certain registration fee.

The authority will organize TSICET 2021 Counseling via online mode. All qualified candidates must be a part of the counseling process. Allotment of seats for the students is done based on the committee's counseling process.

TSICET Telangana 2021 will have a minimum Cut-Off score that the students will have to reach to qualify for the examination.
