SRMJEEE 2023 Counselling & Admission

SRM Institute of Science and Technology conducts the SRMJEE counselling. After the release of SRMJEEE 2022 Results, the counselling process & seat allotment process takes place. Candidates who have qualified in SRM University Entrance Test/SRMJEEE can secure B Tech admission in SRMIST/SRM University. By compiling the score obtained in the SRMJEEE test, the admission authority will prepare SRMJEEE 2022 Merit List. Only those candidates whose names appear on the SRMJEEE Merit List will be allowed to participate in the counselling procedure. In addition, the applicant's qualifying merit rank must be identical to the SRMJEEE 2022 Cut off criteria. Cut off rank vary for each SRM University Campuses. Once the counselling process commences, individual SRM Campus releases a separate cut off list.

It is also important for all students to understand that taking the SRMJEEE does not guarantee admission but only a chance to qualify. Henceforth, Aspirants who have successfully qualified in SRMJEEE must complete all processes, including document verification and seat acceptance. On the official website, the authorities will publish the SRMJEEE 2022 counselling schedule. SRMIST will soon announce the counselling dates for SRMJEEE 2022. However, it is expected that the counselling might begin in June 2022.

Candidates must have their documents validated before undergoing the counselling process of SRMJEEE 2022. Candidates will be assigned seats only after their documents have been verified. Candidates should be aware that if they fail to show the required documents or pay the necessary admission fees, their assigned seat will be given to the next deserving contender.

SRMJEEE 2022 Counseling Procedure

At first, candidates must visit the official website and log in to the registered applicant's portal. Then, check the SRMJEEE 2022 Merit list because only those candidates listed in the SRMJEEE 2022 rank list/merit list are eligible to participate in SRMJEEE 2022 Counselling process.

The SRMJEEE counselling procedure consists of the following steps:

Step 1: SRMJEEE 2022 Counselling Registration: As a primary step, candidates must register for SRMJEEE 2022 to select the institution/SRM Campus and B Tech course specializations. Candidates are required to select the choices in the order of preference.

Step 2: Document Verification:  After filling the choices, candidates must verify their documents.

Step 3: SRMJEEE 2022 Seat Allotment: Once the option filling & document verification round is completed, the exam conducting authorities will publish the seat allotment result on the official website. The seat allotment will be done based on the choices marked, seat availability, and SRMJEEE 2022 cut-off.

Step 4: Payment of Fees:  Candidates who are assigned seats via SRMJEEE counselling must report to the allotted college, and they are required to pay the admission fees to finalize the seats. It cost INR 1,10,000 Lakhs. They must pay the fees by the deadline, or their assigned seat will be cancelled. Candidates will be confirmed for admission to the institute only after paying the payment.

What documents are required for SRMJEEE 2022 counselling?

During the document verification process, candidates will be expected to bring the following documents with them.

• SRMJEEE 2022 Result/Score Card
• SRMJEEE 2022 Admit card or hall ticket of the qualifying examination.
• 12th standard Marks Sheet.
• Tenth-grade Marks Sheet.
• Original and photocopy of photo identification are required.
• Receipts for payments made using E-Pay or Demand Draft.

• Having met the minimum eligibility requirements set forth by the individual institutions.
• All original certificates and other documents indicated below must be submitted for verification.
• Registration and tuition payments must be paid in full.
• Most importantly, candidates must satisfy the SRM University SRMJEEE 2022 Cut off standards as prescribed by the individual campus. The cut-off ranks vary for Different B Tech branches.

SRMJEEE Seat Allotment 2022

The SRMJEEE seat allotment result for 2022 will be published on the official website. Candidates who have been assigned a seat must accept it by paying the requisite fee. Students who participate in SRMJEEE counselling 2022 will be assigned seats in various SRM University campuses based on their performance in the SRM University entrance test/SRMJEEE.

• Candidates who are assigned a seat and get an allotment letter must pay the balance of the tuition price. Failure to do so will result in their candidature cancellation.
• Candidates will be assigned seats in the counselling process based on their SRMJEEE 2022 scores, seat availability, cut off and preferences.

Candidates must score equivalent to the specified SRMJEEE cut-off norms to gain a seat in one of the SRMJEEE 2022 participating colleges. Students will be invited for counselling and will be assigned colleges based on their rank achieved in SRMJEEE. Q1. Is it necessary to take the SRMJEEE entrance exam to be admitted to SRM University?

Yes, Candidates must pass the SRMJEEE entrance exam to be considered for admission to the university. But there is a provision for direct admission in SRM, which is applicable only for the 1^st rank students of all State/Central Board Students. And candidates who have achieved within the top 10,000 ranks in JEE Main are eligible for direct admission.
