WBJEE 2024 Counselling & Admission

Following the announcement of the WBJEE 2024 results, the West Bengal Joint Entrance Examination Board (WBJEEB) will begin WBJEE 2024 counselling. The WBJEE counselling schedule 2024 will be released soon on the official website by the test conducting organization. Candidates who pass the WBJEE must register to engage in the counselling procedure. Applicants will finish the option filling process along with the WBJEE counselling registration 2024. The test administration will reveal the WBJEE 2024 seat allotment result individually for each round when the choice filling procedure is completed.

The WBJEE Counselling process concludes, Registration, filling out the preferences branch/courses/college, and paying the WBJEE 2024 counselling fees. WBJEE 2024 Counselling process

Candidates need to follow the following mentioned steps to participate in the WBJEE 2024 counselling process

Step 1- Online Registration for WBJEE 2024 counselling.

Candidates must finish the WBJEE 2024 counselling registration process as the initial stage. Candidates must go to the official website and provide their WBJEE/JEE Main/NATA roll number, name, mother's name, and birth date. The password will be generated after Registration.

Step 2 - Payment of WBJEE 2024 Counselling Fee

After registering, aspirants must pay the WBJEE counselling fee of Rs. 300. Candidates will pay the charge using a debit card, credit card, or net banking account. It is important to know that the WBJEE 2024 counselling cost is non-refundable.

Step 3- Filling and locking your choice

Candidates must log in with their WBJEE roll number and password to fill up their preferences for college and courses. Candidates who do not complete or miss this stage will be disqualified from admission and seat assignment consideration. When the option entry procedure is completed, candidates must lock their choices for the final WBJEE 2024 seat allotment. Candidates who do not lock their preferences will be assigned seats based on their most recent stored options.

Step 4- Review the WBJEE seat allocation results

Candidates' seats will be assigned depending on their rank, preference list, and seat availability. The outcome of the WBJEE 2024 seat allotment will be announced online, and the procedure will be divided into three rounds. Candidates who have been assigned seats in the first round of seat allocation must report to the reporting centres. Verified applicants must pay the provisional admission cost.

Step 5- Document Verification

Candidates who have been assigned seats through WBJEE counselling 2024 must attend their designated reporting centres and have their documents checked. Candidates are also responsible for paying the requisite fee. For verification reasons, the following list of papers must be submitted at the reporting centres:

• WBJEE 2024 result or rank card
• WBJEE 2024 provisional allotment letter
• Income certificate (if applicable)
• Domicile certificate (if applicable)
• JEE Main 2024 result (if applicable)
• 'Yes Upgradation' or 'No Upgradation' option form
• Confirmation page of WBJEE 2024
• Admit card or certificate of 10th standard (or equivalent) examination for name and age verification
• 10th standard (or equivalent) mark sheet for English subject mark verification
• Caste certificate (for SC/ST/OBC-A/OBC-B candidates)
• Physically challenged certificate for PwD category candidates

Step 6- Present yourself at the allotted institutes

Candidates who have been assigned seats must have their papers checked at the institutes to which they have been assigned. Candidates who were assigned seats in the first round can either pay the acceptance fee or upgrade at this point. Candidates will get a preliminary allocation letter at the reporting centres, including allotment information, fee information, and their intent to upgrade.

WBJEE 2024 Counselling: Mop-up round

Candidates had to pay Rs. 200 to take part in the WBJEE 2024 mop-up round. This round is optional for all candidates who have enrolled. During the mop-up phase, candidates will change their already filled choices. Candidates from the following groups will be eligible for the WBJEE 2024 mop-up round:

• Those who completed Round 1 entrance
• Those who completed Round 2 admittance
• Those who did not get around 1 or 2 allocation
• Those who did not finish Round 2 admittance
• Those whose category was altered in Round 2 due to document verification
• Those who paid the seat acceptance fee but did not turn in their documents for verification

WBJEE 2024 Counselling: Upgradation round

In subsequent rounds, candidates who choose an upgrade will be considered for seat allocation. Candidates who received their first choice during the Round 1 seat allotment, on the other hand, will not be eligible for degradation. Candidates who wish to upgrade their status and accept their allocation must report to the RC during the second round. During the second round of WBJEE seat allotment, they can modify their up-gradation status from "Yes" to "No," but not from "No" to "Yes."
