Dayananda Sagar Institutions Course

This being a large institute, there are many courses and programs offered full-time in different streams. There is B.Tech, BBA, BCA, BA, B.Com, and a few other courses offered under graduation level, so as under post-graduation, there is M.Tech, MBA, MCA, MA, M.Com, and PGDM programs provided. Also, there is a diploma program, and at the research level, a Ph.D. program is offered. Several specializations are provided for candidates with minimum eligibility under each course, and college-based cut-off seats will be granted to every student. The intake of students differs for each class and occupation under each method. Merit students will undergo screening, and based on that, the selection of candidates for each time will be allotted. Candidates shall register on the official website and then proceed with admissions.

B.Tech and M.Tech in DSI

Under B.Tech, there are 16 specializations offered by DSI, and these are significant disciplines given; based on the KCET cut-off put up by the college, admissions to B.Tech in DSI will be provided. A minimum 50% aggregate is required in the 12th board in the science stream from a recognized board followed by KCET/COMEDK UGET or other entrance exam counseling basis B.Tech admissions will be granted. The program candidates' demand for specialization seats will be given based on seats' availability.

In total, nine specializations are offered under M.Tech in DSI. Candidates must be graduated with B.Tech in a relevant discipline with not less than 50% aggregate to apply for M.Tech. Further, PGCET/GATE or related entrance exam-based admissions to M.Tech will be granted. Based on students' intake and other criteria, entries will be provided. The specializations offered under M.Tech will go as Chemical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Computer Networking, Digital Electronics, Embedded Systems, VLSI Design, Computer Science and Engineering, Industrial Engineering & Management, Structural Engineering, and Digital Communication & Networking.

BBA and MBA in DSI

BBA is three years program offered for candidates after completing XII, so a minimum aggregate of 50% is required in the qualifying examination as basic eligibility. Also, there would be no entrance exam conducted.BBA admissions to DSI will be given based on candidates' merits.

Based on KMAT, CAT, MAT, or related entrance exam-based selection, the candidate’s seat to MBA will be allotted. However, basic eligibility as a bachelor’s degree from any discipline will be accepted not less than 50%. Provided there are five specializations offered under MBA that go as Financial Management, Human Resource Management, Production Management, Financial Management, and Quantitative Techniques. MBA admissions to DSI will be offered based on seat availability for a particular specialization.

B.Sc. and M.Sc. in DSI

At the UG level, the B.Sc. program is offered for three years duration, and there are 12 disciplines offered for which candidates from the science stream or relevant stream could apply. No less than 45-50% is required in the 12th board, so the specializations of B.Sc. go as Microbiology, Physics, Chemistry, Biotechnology, Economics, Nursing, Genetics Electronics, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics, and Fashion & Apparel Design. Through merit in academics, candidates could seek DSI admissions to B.Sc.

B.Sc. graduated students or related degree from a related discipline with not less than 45% marks obtained students could apply for M.Sc. through merit in academic basis M.Sc. admissions to DSI will be offered. The specializations for which candidates have options to use would be biotechnology, medical-surgical nursing, nursing, community health nursing, psychiatric nursing, biochemistry, microbiology, obstetrics & gynecology applied genetics, and pediatric nursing.

BCA and MCA in DSI

Students who passed in 10+2 board securing at least 45% marks will be accepted to apply for the college based on college cut-off and specific criteria. BCA admission to DSI will be granted. Also, there is no entrance exam for BCA admissions, so candidates qualifying exam marks should be acceptable to get seats for the course.

Students who graduated with BCA or relevant degree secured the college will accept no less than 50% marks to apply for MCA. So, MCA is for three years, and admissions to DSI for MCA will be offered based on PGCET and academic marks. There would be an absolute cut-off put up, and based on the cut-off followed by counseling, MCA seats will be allotted.

BA in DSI

Candidates who passed in intermediate with a minimum of 45% marks will apply for BA. Also, the candidate's qualifying exam marks based on BA admissions to DSI will be provided. The duration of BA is for three years. Specific disciplines offered under BA are Political Science, Economics, Sociology, Journalism, History, and Mathematics.

B.Com and M.Com in DSI

Usually, commerce background candidates apply for the course, and there is no entrance exam to get seats; however, 12th marks are considered to get B.Com admissions to DSI. The duration of the time is for three years. The intake of students for B.Com would be 60 to 120 students.

M.Com admissions to DSI will be made through B.Com, or related degree marks basis, so as per the college put up cut-off basis, students will be given seats for M.Com. There is no entrance test conducted to grant academic merit basis admissions.

PGDM in DSI

PGDM is one course that is equivalent to an MBA offered at the PG level for 2 years. PGDM admissions will be offered through KMAT or equal entrance test counseling in DSI. Bachelor’s degree in any discipline with not less than 50% marks is acceptable for applying to PGDM in DSI. The course comes under a management stream, so different fields are offered in PGDM, the same as the MBA program.

Ph.D. in DSI

There is a Ph.D. program offered under the research level for three years duration. Nearly 20 specializations are offered, and DSI admissions to Ph.D. will be based on several criteria, including master’s degree aggregate, work experience, and entrance exam. So, candidates can apply for the specializations such as Architecture, Computer Science and Engineering, Mathematics, Mechanical Engineering, Civil Engineering, Electronics and Telecommunication, Electronics & Communication Engineering, Instrumentation Technology, Medical Electronics, Construction Engineering and Management, Business Administration, Physics, Chemical Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Biotechnology, Industrial Engineering, Automobile Engineering, Chemistry, and Computer Applications.

Diploma Engineering in DSI

After completing the 10th or 12th or other related course-based, candidates can apply for a diploma in engineering. As minimum eligibility, 50% marks are necessary for the 10th board or 12th board through merit-based in previous academics DSI admission to diploma in engineering will be offered. The duration of the program is for three years. Also, there is no entrance test for admissions. The disciplines offered under the diploma are Civil Engineering, Electrical & Electronics Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Electronics and Communication Engineering, and Computer Science and Engineering.

Dayananda Sagar Institutions Fee Structure

Dayananda Sagar Institution is a private college, and the fee structure of DSI will be based on the entrance exam through which candidates would get admission to the college. So, candidates seeking admissions through KCET will have a different fee. For COMEDK students, there is an additional fee. For PGCET students' extra costs, so as for management quota students, a different fee structure is given.
