The Institute, popularly known as BMSCE, began in 1946, located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is a private College affiliated with VTU, Belgaum and graded A by NAAC. The College has ranked at 98th place for engineering by NIRF. Also, the College offers UG and PG programs in various departments with multiple disciplines. The Admission for UG programs will be based on COMEDK and NATA scores, and admission for the PG program will be based on KMAT PGCET entrance scores. • BMSCE offers B. Tech for four academic years with an annual intake of 40 students in total per branch for students with eligible marks.
• The eligibility for B. Tech programs at BMSCE will be based on the 12th board exam with 50% marks from a recognized board.
• The Admission for the B. Tech course at BMSCE will depend on COMED-K or KEA entrance exam scores.
• The cut-off scores will be available on the official website, and students will have to obtain a Cut-off score to get admission for B. Tech.
• The students applying for the B. Tech program through the Management quota must appear in any entrance exam to get admission.
• Candidates who have cleared the National and State level entrance exam must appear in Counselling conducted by the Institute.

BMS College of Engineering B. Arch Admission 

• BMSCE offers a B. Arch program for five years to the candidates who have eligible marks in the qualifying exam.
• The annual intake for the B. Arch program at BMSCE will be 120 seats in total per academic year.  
• The students seeking the B. Arch program at BMSCE will be based on 10+2 with 50% marks in relevant subjects.
• The admission process for B. Arch at BMSCE will be based on NATA or COMEDK entrance exam scores.
• The students must reach the cut-off scores for the B. Arch course to get admission at BMSCE.

BMS College of Engineering M. Tech Admission 

• BMSCE offers an M. Tech program for two years with seven disciplines to applicants who have qualifying marks.
• The admission for the M. Tech course at BMSCE is based on the students' GATE / PGCET entrance exam scores.
• To appear in the entrance exam and get seats for the M. Tech course, candidates must have 50% marks in B. Tech / BE degree.
• Candidates who have qualified GATE entrance test will get direct admission based on merit.
• The students must clear the entrance exam with a valid score to appear in counselling sessions conducted by the Institute.
• PGCET will be an offline entrance exam with multiple-choice questions to which students must appear to get admission.
• The students must obtain the cut-off scores of M. Tech at BMSCE to get access.

• The Admission for the M. Arch program at BMSCE will be based on PGCET / GATE entrance exam scores.

• The final selection for the M. Arch program will be based on entrance scores, academics scores and counselling scores.

• BMSCE offers MBA and MCA courses under the PG program for two years to candidates with valid scores in respective fields.
• The students seeking admission for the MBA course at BMSCE will be based on graduation with 50% marks from a recognized board.
• The students applying for the MCA program at BMSCE must have 50% marks in UG degree from the authorized board.
• The selection for an MBA course at BMSCE will be based on marks scored in MAT / CAT / XAT / CMAT / KMAT or PGCET admission test.
• The admission for the MCA course at BMSCE is based on KMAT / PGCET scores to get selected for the course.
