The Institute is popularly known as BIT, established in 1979 and located in Bangalore, Karnataka. It is a private Institute affiliated with VTU, Belgaum. The college currently offers BE, M. Tech, and MBA programs under UG and PG courses in various disciplines. To apply for these programs, candidates must visit the official website and download the application form to use. The admission mode for offered courses will be offline.

  • The Institute offers a BE program for four years with nine different specializations for the eligible candidates.
  • The students must have obtained 50% marks in the 12th board examination from a recognized board Institute.
  • The Admission for the BE course at BIT will be based on JEE Main or KCET entrance exam scores for the students who apply.
  • Students who have cleared the entrance exam will have to attend counseling sessions conducted by the Institute before admission.
  • To get admission at CIT, the students will also have to reach the cut-off scores for each BE subject.

  • The Institute offers M. Tech with eight disciplines for two years to candidates with eligible marks.
  • The students seeking admission for the M. Tech program at BIT will be based on B. Tech / BE with 50% marks from a recognized board.

  • BIT offers an MBA program for two years to the candidates who have eligible marks in the qualifying examination.
  • The students seeking admission for the MBA course at BIT will be based on a UG degree with 50% marks and 45% marks for the SC / ST students.
  • Admission to the MBA course at BIT will be based on PGCET or CAT / MAT / XAT / CMAT / KCAT scores.
  • The students applying for the MBA program at BIT must reach the cut-off score to get admission.

The college is affiliated with Visvesvaraya Technological University. Bangalore Institute of Technology's nirf ranking was 201-250 rank. BIT is situated in Silicon Valley, Bangalore. NAAC and AICTE accredit the college. To be eligible for admission, candidates must have 45% marks in 10+2. Selection is based on COMEDK/KCET scores. The COMEDK UGET cutoff for the GM category in 2023 ranged from 2758 to 31893 rank. In KCET, Bangalore Institute Of Technology Cutoff For CSE is 4368. For B-Tech admissions, BIT will consider KCET/ COMED-K/ JEE Mian scores. The Bangalore Institute of Technology cut-off via KCET is 4368.
