RV College of Engineering B-Tech admissions are based on academic merit in 10+2 board exams in the science stream with min of 75% marks as aggregate, followed with JEE Main or KCET scores. If you are a non-domicile applicant, then appear for COMED-K to seek admission in private engineering colleges of Karnataka. For state quota admissions, valid scores in KCET or JEE Main exams is mandatory. If you have low scores, then you can apply for management quota seats directly by applying online by visiting the official website of the college. RVCE offers a popular 4-year BE course with 12 specializations. If you're from Karnataka, you can get in based on your KCET score. But if you're from another state, your COMEDK score matters for admission. R V College of Engineering COMEDK Cutoff varies between 232 to 18028. In contrast, CET cut off 119 to 43629. Applicants with a valid rank from KCET or COMEDK exams must attend Counselling. KCET qualifiers go to KEA's KCET Counselling, while COMEDK qualifiers attend COMEDK Counselling. During counseling, applicants pick their preferred college and course. Seats are then allotted based on these choices and exam scores. KCET fills about 45% of seats, COMEDK fills 30%, and the rest, 25%, are through R V College of Engineering Management Quota.
I could get a seat in this college by securing a valid score in KCET, so my rank was 220, and I could get B. Tech in information science & engineering. So, 45% of seats are filled through KCET, and 25% of seats are reserved for the management quota, and the remaining 30% seats are for COMEDK. Firstly candidates need to appear for the entrance exam so that the KCET application form will be released in Feb, and the exam will be held in April. KCET exam fee is INR 650 for general category students. Once the results are declared, we will go through counseling process through which college will be allotted further my R.V. College of Engineering B.Tech admissions to place
I would suggest taking admission for B.tech in this college through the entrance exams like KCET or COMEDK. I took RV College of Engineering admissions by the KCET score keeping, which we will have to appear for the counseling to get access to the B.tech. I was studying B.Tech in telecommunication engineering.
