CAT 2024 Results & Score Card

Students will be able to access their CAT 2023 scorecard via the IIM CAT's official site. The Common Admission Test's organisers also send out CAT scorecards via SMS to students. CAT 2023 Results will be declared in the form of CAT Score Card, which includes sectional score, sectional percentile, overall score & percentile. In the second week of January 2023, the CAT 2023 results will be announced. CAT scores will be computed by assigning 3 points for each correct answer and deducting 1 point for each wrong answer. The Score Card of CAT will be valid for 1 year only.

• Candidates will be able to download the result of CAT 2023 by entering their User ID and Password, which was created during CAT   2023 Registration Process.
• Soon after the declaration of CAT Results, IIM starts the shortlisting process for MBA admission.

How to Check the CAT 2023 Result?

To view CAT 2023 Exam Results, students should go to the IIM CAT official site and sign in to the 'Candidate Dashboard.' They can check the CAT 2023 results by following the steps outlined below:

1. Dwell upon the CAT official website iimcat.ac.in.
2. Tap the 'IIM CAT result 2023 link. After clicking, you will be redirected towards a new login window.
3. Type the user ID and password. Then click on the login button. (Required to use the login ID & Password generated during CAT 2023 application process.
4. After successful login, you will be able to view the CAT exam results 2023 on the website. The CAT results will be in the form of the CAT 2023 Score Card.

CAT 2023 Percentile Calculation

3 points are given for each correct answer in the CAT exam, and 1 point is deducted for each wrong answer. In non-MCQ questions, no marks are deducted for incorrect answers. The CAT percentile is calculated in three steps. Look at the following:

1. Each student is first granted marks in each section based on the number of correct and incorrect attempts, and the overall score is calculated by adding the section-wise rankings.
2. Following that, the sectional and overall scores are adjusted to yield the scaled CAT score.
3. The normalised scores are transitioned into percentiles that are displayed on the CAT scorecard.

What is the next process after CAT 2023 Result?

• After the CAT 2023 Result declaration, IIMs will release the individual CAT Cut off on their official website. Based on the cut off criteria, students will be shortlisted for MBA admission in IIMs.
• Candidates who satisfy the IIM CAT Cut off criteria will be eligible to apply for admission in IIMs.
• Shortlisted students will be informed via email or SMS. In another way, students can check the IIM Shortlisting result by logging into their respective websites.
• After that, shortlisted candidates must participate in further IIM selection rounds that are GD/PI and WAT (Written Ability Test)

How to Raise Objection against CAT 2023 Answer Key?

If students find any discrepancy in their Answer key of CAT exam 2023, they can object to it by filling the CAT 2023 Answer Key objection form. Over the past year, the fees for raising an objection cost INR 1200 for each question. The authority will release the CAT 2023 Final answer key after the objection process is completed. If the exam officials determine that the student's objection to the CAT 2023 answer key is legitimate, the cost will be paid back in the same account.
