Placements are decent or, one can say, average at this college. The college management needs to work a lot on the placement drive.

The University has a dedicated placement cell that assists students with their career and job prospects. The cell organizes company visits, mock interviews, and training sessions. It also liaises with different companies and organizations that offer internships to students.

Applicants must also attend pre-placement talks and prepare for GDs, technical, and HR interviews. Some of the top recruiters that take part in the drive are Accenture, Airtel, Colgate Palmolive, Delphi Automotive, Capgemini, Coca-Cola, DRDO, and Glaxo SmithKline. The highest CTC has gone up to INR 15 LPA. Tezpur University's average package is INR 6.5 LPA.

Tezpur University Scholarships

The University offers a variety of scholarships for students, including academic, need-based, and special scholarships. Students can apply for these scholarships after submitting an application and passing the entrance exam. The University, government agencies, and private donors fund scholarships. They offer a variety of scholarships to deserving students. These include the Ishan Uday Scholarship for UG students, the PG Indira Gandhi Scholarship for women, and other scholarships from the state government.

Tezpur University Infrastructure Facilities

The Tezpur University campus area is well-built and equipped with all the necessary amenities. It provides facilities such as sports arenas, horticulture and health centres, and computer laboratories. it has extensive computing facilities. There is a state-of-the-art Central Computer Centre and Departmental computer laboratories.

The University has five men's and seven women's hostels, each with a common room and facilities such as water purifiers, an amusement room, a wreck, a TV, and security. The Tezpur University hostel fee structure is INR 22.2 K per annum, which includes the mess facility.  

Tezpur University Admission Process 

To apply for various courses offered by TU, students must visit the Tezpur University admission portal and click on the Admission tab. Then, they must fill out all the personal and educational information requested on the application form and upload the necessary documents to complete the admission process. The Tezpur University application fee for the given courses is INR 700 (INR 350 for SC/ST/PWD) and can be paid online via credit or debit card. The college accepts applications from both domestic and international candidates.

Tezpur University is a cost-effective choice because its B.Tech programs cost about INR 60,000 annually.

Tezpur University Exam fees for Distance courses is INR 500 per subject. However, the fees are subject to change every year.

Tezpur University Distance Education Admission 2025 will be conducted in two sessions. The first session will begin in May. And, the second session will begin in November. The mode of admission process is entirely online.
