ADBU BCA Admission

The BCA degree is an industry-ready program specializing in cutting-edge information technology fields like cloud computing, information security, and mobile applications. Intermediate from a recognized board with a passing grade of 45% in any stream is the basis for ADBU Course admission for BCA. In addition, candidates must have studied Mathematics at 10+2 level.

ADBU BBA Admission

The University's Bachelor of Business Administration program introduces students to the business world, focusing on finance, banking, marketing, and human resource management. This university degree aims to aid students in acquiring an entrepreneurial mindset and abilities. Assam Don Bosco University B.Tech Admission

B Tech is the flagship program among UG Courses. AICTE has approved the course. Besides, B Tech of ADBU has been ranked 79th in the NIRF Engineering Category. Thus, it has been listed among India's Top 100 Engineering Institutes. The seat availability for this course is 60.

  • The basic eligibility requirement for B Tech is Class 12 or equivalent passed with a combined score of 50% in Physics, Math, Chemistry, or Computer Science. For B Tech Lateral Entry, the student should earn at least a 50% passing grade in the diploma (in engineering and technology) exam.
  • Candidates are nominated based on their performance in the qualifying exam and admission test, such as the Don Bosco University Entrance Exam, Assam-JEE, and the JEE Main.
  • Candidates who have already attempted state/national level exams are exempted from appearing on university-based internal exams.
  • Based on a candidate's performance on the DBU-GET, they will be acknowledged to the second year of the B Tech program. (Lateral Entry)

BSc Admission

The university offers a 3-year Bachelor of Science (BSc) with an annual intake of 40 seats. These degrees give students the knowledge they need to apply the principles of physics, chemistry, mathematics, botany, and zoology to various practical fields. The minimum requirement for this program is passing the HSC/10+2 with a combined score of 45% in mathematics, physics, and chemistry.

B.Com Admission

For admission to the B Com, the student should be a 12th pass out with a commerce stream and 50% aggregate marks. The selection is based on academic merit. Varsity will create the Merit list by compiling the scores of 12th academic results.

B.Pharm Admission

Don Bosco University's Institute of Pharmacy offers a 4-year Bachelor of Pharmacy program. The seat intake is 60. The student should receive a passing grade of 50% on the 10+2 exam in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics and in the combined Physics, Chemistry, and Biology/Mathematics scores. Per PCI norms, the student should be 17 on or before Dec 31.

The selection of the contenders is based on the entrance exam administrated by ADBU. As a result, applicants must register for DBU-GET as the main step. Later, the official website page will notify you of the Exam Dates. Students need to take the exam as per schedule. Candidates will be qualified for further selection rounds based on the exam score.

 

MSc Admission

A master's degree in science provides students with scientific and professional skills. Candidates must have a minimum qualifying exam score of 50% and graduate from an approved university. Personal interviews and merit in the qualifying exam are the basis of the final selection of the candidate. The seat intake of this course is 40. However, candidates must meet the eligibility requirements before applying for the PG Admission MSc.

Assam Don Bosco University MBA Admission

Among the PG courses, the MBA is the most popular one due to its relevance to the industry. The two-year, six-trimester MBA program ADBU offers will help students develop personally and professionally and prepare them for the rigors of working in any area of business practice. The educational style and approach are distinctive, focusing on building leadership abilities, applying technology, and global business.

The seats available for the MBA course are 60. Eligibility for this course requires graduation in any discipline with a minimum of 50% of the total marks. Candidates who have passed the GMAT, CAT, XAT, MAT, AICTE-CMAT, or JMAT may not have to take the Assam Don Bosco University MBA Entrance Exam. The final candidate selection is based on performance in the exam and personal interview.

MCA Admission

Candidates who completed their UG degree in any discipline and earned a cumulative GPA of 50% are eligible for the university's MCA program. The course's primary focus areas are application programming, system-level programming, database management, and computer network and internet technologies. The institution conducts a personal interview and a qualifying exam called the DBU-PGET ( PG Entrance Exam) to determine who gets one of the 60 available seats. Those who have not yet earned their bachelor's degree in BCA can apply.

Such candidates will be given provisional admission until the student verification requirements are completed. They must complete the document verification process within three months of enrollment.

 

MA Admission

Candidates may apply for MA courses if they have completed their undergraduate degrees in the relevant fields with a minimum cumulative GPA of 50%. The university conducts a qualifying examination and a personal interview to determine whether applicants are qualified. The seat intake is 40. To prepare professionals in banking, finance, advanced accountancy, industry, and business management, a 2-year (4-semester) M Com course with three specializations (in Accounting & Taxation, Finance & Investment, and Management) has been offered. The minimum eligibility is a bachelor's degree in commerce with a minimum GPA of 50% from any UGC-recognized university. The selection is based on merit. Selected students are mandated to pay the admission fees before the stipulated deadline.

 

MSW Admission

The 2-year PG-level study in social work that leads to the MSW degree is designed to prepare students to organize and carry out various social services and social welfare activities. The students will receive a cutting-edge education that combines theory, fieldwork, and research to equip them with a range of skills that will permit them to work as active social workers, find and run their social work organizations, or find employment with various local, national, and international agencies.

The student should be a bachelor's degree holder in any stream with 50% aggregate marks. Candidates for MSW must appear for the DBU-PGET exam, which Don Bosco University administers.
