The primary goal of the IIIT Delhi B.Tech is to develop students in such a way that they are well prepared with the necessary core competencies, problem-solving, and innovation skills needed to succeed in engineering and entrepreneurship careers, as well as being well prepared to pursue higher education and research careers. IIT Delhi Eligibility Criteria

• IIITD offers admission to the B Tech based on JEE Main rank. Students who qualify in JEE Main are eligible to participate in JAC Counselling.
• To be noted, IIITD considers UCEED rank (Only for a few seats in CSD), and Class 12 Marks will be used for B.Tech (Only for some seats in CSSS). For the remaining disciplines, JEE Main valid score is mandatory.
• Students must pass the HSC/12^th from a recognized board in the science stream. The student must qualify with a CGPA of 8.0 or higher.

To be eligible, students must score min of 65% in their bachelor's degree B Tech. Students with valid GATE scores can apply for admission in IIIT Delhi. Suppose students who have not attempted GATE have to appear for the IIIT Delhi M Tech Entrance Exam. It will be the written exam administrated by Institute. However, GATE qualifiers will be preferred over Non-GATE if they meet the IIIT Delhi GATE Cut off.

IIIT Delhi has launched Online PG Diploma programs in collaboration with IBM and Great Learning. The online courses in IIIT Delhi specializations include IIIT Delhi data science with AI and computer science with A.I. Both programs are available for 9 and 12 months, respectively.

Candidates for the online courses at IIIT Delhi must be graduates or postgraduates who have studied in the CS/IT fields. Through the programs, students can learn about the business world and gain academic experience from IIIT Delhi staff members and business specialists.

At IIIT Delhi, there are currently four hostels, one for females with 380 seats and three for boys with 508, 394, and 280 seats, respectively. All the IIIT Delhi hostel rooms have student equipment, including a bed, table, chair, bookshelf, cupboard, etc. In the summer, the rooms have nighttime air conditioning, and in the winter, they have heating. In hostels, there is also high-speed Internet access. Currently, air-conditioned rooms with options for single, double, and triple occupancy are available at the hostels. For visitors to the Institute, there are 4 guest rooms at the hostels. The IIIT Delhi campus is open to all hostel students, and some study spaces are available to them around-the-clock. The Institute has put up an Infirmary at Ground Level to provide 24x7 medical coverage to our Faculty, Staff, and Students, both Hostel Residents and Day Scholars.
