Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi has 17 departments that offer various undergraduate and post-graduate courses. All the programs offered at Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi are under the University Grants Commission (UGC) and are among the best institutions in Delhi. The university was set up in the academic year of 1969 and was approved by AICTE.

  • Jawaharlal Nehru University offers undergraduate and post-graduate courses in Arts, Science, Computer Applications, Medical, Engineering, Law, and Mass Communication, under numerous specializations.
  • At the undergraduate level, the university offers three years of Bachelor of Arts (BA) programs under the specializations of French, Japanese, Arabic, Russian, Chinese, German & Spanish.
  • For admission into the undergraduate program, the candidate must have completed 10+2 with a minimum aggregate of 45% marks from a recognized board of education.
  • Jawaharlal Nehru University offers MA, MCA, M. Sc, MBA, MPH, and M. Tech at the post-graduate level.
  • For admission into these post-graduate courses, the candidate must have passed graduation under a relevant discipline with a minimum aggregate of 60% marks as an essential eligibility criterion.
  • Final selection into MCA, MA, M. Sc, and MPH programs is based on the candidate's score in the university's JNUEE entrance examination.
  • JNUEE entrance examination is conducted mostly in May.
  • JNUEE cut-off marks for the general category are 46, for the OBC category is 39, for the SC category is 38, for the ST category is 3,8. For candidates belonging to the physically handicapped category,y the cut-off mark is 33.
  • Jawaharlal Nehru University also offers integrated programs like B. Tech + M. Tech and M. Sc + Ph. D, under a few specializations.
  • Candidates fulfilling the essential eligibility criteria of having passed graduation, B. Sc degree or equivalent in relevant fields with at least 55% marks are invited for a written examination and Viva Voce examination, conducted by the university itself for admission into M. Sc + Ph. D program.
  • In B. Tech + M. Tech, the program candidate must appear for the JEE Mains entrance examination and secure a valid score per the cut-off marks to get shortlisted for admission. Cut-off marks for JEE Mains under the general category are 6037-16156; for the OBC category are 4144-7361. The SC category is 1958-3811, and for the ST category, the cut-off marks are 1046-1870.

JNU Delhi will consider JEE Main scores to provide B-Tech admissions. Jawaharlal Nehru University Delhi's cut-off score overall will range from 22689 to 28584 rank.


I want to know the cut-off score for the M-Tech program at JNU Delhi.

For M-Tech admissions, the University will consider JNUEE scores. The JNU M-Tech cut-off is 40.
